I've always been a huge fan of longer set times as it enables me to fully tell my stories without any boundaries, which is why the concept of Flow Sessions deeply resonated with me early on. I deep dived in my library for days and after everything was set, I've just let it flow in my studio for 3 hours 33 minutes and 33 seconds, fluently grooving to higher BPMs, playing some of the most beautiful tracks I've collected over the years. Some hidden gems, some long forgotten beauties, a few new unreleased tracks of mine... I hope you flow as much as I did while recording this and it makes the upcoming autumn and winter months a little more bearable to you if you're based in the northern hemispheres. If you're to be found in the southern hemispheres I hope it makes you smile to the sun and appreciate life and music to the fullest. Isn't music such a beautiful thing?!

"Hard to find the right words to describe the feeling I had when playing my set at the Mayan Warrior at this years Burning Man.

In the middle of a whiteout, fourth day of the festival, second time on the Mayan, first time solo on this amazing art car I played track after track without preparation as most of the artists probably do when playing such a major show.

I always want to play in the moment. To be with you guys. To feel your vibes - exactly to the way that it fits to the moment.

Having the car packed with people in the beginning, then emptied of them while driving to its designated spot on the playa and then packed again after stopping didn’t exactly make things easy for me. In spite of that the intensity of this wonderful night was so unexpected and greatly appreciated.

Out comes one of my hardest sets I’ve uploaded in a long time:)

I hope you guys enjoy (ed) it as much as I do.

Ich öffne meine Augen und nehme mit vernebelten Verstand den blauen Himmel wahr. Mit meiner Handfläche ertaste ich das satte Grün unter mir. Als ich den Kopf drehe erblicke ich, mit immer noch leicht verschwommenen Blick, zappelnde Gestalten. Sie bewegen sich rhythmisch hin und her. Wohlige Wärme durchströmt meinen Körper als eine strahlend weiße Wolke den Platz für die Sonne frei macht. Langsam setze ich mich auf und meine Synapsen werden weiter mit Eindrücken geflutet. Aus verschwommenen schwarzgrau wird pfauenfeder-bunt. Lachen und wilder Tanz bestimmt die Szenerie, die umrahmt wird von elektronischen Kompositionen. Alle scheinen so frei und unbeschwert zu sein. Es herrscht eine Schwerelosigkeit des Seins wie bei Kindergeburtstagen aus früheren Zeiten. Die Umgebung ist detailverliebt geschmückt und die Teilnehmer dieses fantasievollen Kongresses scheinen dem Alltag nie begegnet zu sein. Voller Freude erhebe ich mich und begebe mich ins Getümmel. Ich schwebe durch diesen lauen Sommertag und lasse mich treiben durch ungeahnte Sphären. Die Momente scheinen unendlich zu sein und pure Inspiration wird in meinen Verstand injiziert. Ich tanze, lache, quatsche, spiele, entdecke und scheine den Garten Eden gefunden zu haben. Ein Rave im Grünen wie eine Offenbarung. Wann kommt nur endlich wieder der Frühling und die Zeit der gemeinsamen Verzückung.

Arkadiusz lässt euch heute seine Version einer bunten Tüte elektronischer Beats probieren. Dabei hat der Curator von Afterhour Sound unterschiedliche Stile passend in einander übergeblendet und somit einen treibenden Flow geschaffen! Wir freuen uns euch Arkadiusz hier auf deep stories präsentieren zu können.

An eventful year is coming to an end. We have reached many milestones with our podcast series and our record label. In addition, we could finally continue our own event series and invited many friends to play in our living room. An absolute highlight was our summer tour with gigs in Gran Canaria and Thailand. ‘Music is my anchor, my passion, my favorite form of expression’, Fabian says, adding: ‘I want to surprise’. It’s this belief in freedom that drives his work as an artist, unafraid to experiment and craft a profoundly personal sound in the process. A juxtaposition often sits at the heart of his tracks, as Fabian sprinkles lush or mischievous melodies over springy, sometimes elastic and other times static rhythms, nodding to organic and minimal house at once. It’s Fabian’s deep-rooted feeling for sound that fuse these disparate motifs into an irresistible whole as his productions unfold and flourish with intricate details and surprising touches, always united under a tight groove.

All of these addictive attributes are equally omnipresent when Fabian helms the booth – with a nonchalance rooted in pure joy that’s perceivable in an instant. Here, again, he intrinsically becomes the storyteller, weaving an authentic narrative while turning the room upside down. Whether that’s with a sunny selection at Sisyphos Strand, peak-time power at Bucht der Träumer, Wilde Möhre or Feel Festival or a dubbed-out affair for Afterhour Sounds. While by no means a recent presence in Berlin with past gigs at favourites like Kater Blau, Sisyphos, or Ritter Butzke, the last years took Fabian further afield to festivals like The Monastery, Bucht der Träumer, Feel, scene highlight ADE or shows around the world in Oaxaca, Tulum, Zanzibar, New York, Miami, Washington, Seattle, Istanbul, Amsterdam and many more.

Welcome to Flow Music! A pioneering Australian based label & mix series. Our mission is to give a new outlet for creativity to the international electronic music industry through our innovative long format mix series. It invites the artist to create a magnum opus of a composition which will endure over the years due to discovery both through the artists profile and our profile.
