It slides around and gives nods to their roots and spits you out the other side. Tough and full of swagger, but still mushy and warm, this duo brings a big break feel to the track.

This track is one of my favorite things I have written in a long while. Downtempo has always been something I have gravitated towards and I felt that I was able to make a track that encapsulates the beauty of not being too busy and having the ability to spend time freely.

Downtime is something I have valued heavily since I was a child. Having free time to be able to play games or hang out with friends was so special, and it seems as you get older you have less and less downtime. 

Working in the schools, I have summers off and I am lucky enough to spend a lot of my time as I please. This may be my last July with the generous amount of downtime I was able to cherish this summer, but I love that I can share this track to immortalize my experience this summer and revisit the feeling <3
