Aaaron is associated with the likes Yoshitoshi Recordings, Innervisions and Frau Blau and is straight out of the Berlin club scene. He has worked with fellow Berlin artist Deckert since they first hooked up on 2017’s 'Moon' and 'Last Day on Earth' EPs. They have continued to develop their sound since then and now come on strong with a pair of richly organic house tracks. South African remixer Floyd Lavine is a connected regular who has released on labels like Watergate, Rise and Afrikan Tales, and gigs at the likes of Watergate and Glastonbury. His version shifts the focus from the melodies to the edgy drums, with his famously heavy afro tech stylings making for a fresh new tune.

Zatar number 25 lands with a four track EP from Roo & Starving Yet Full - a collaboration between one of Jordan’s electronic music pioneers Roo, and Starving Yet Full - aka Cédric Gasaïda, formerly the lead vocalist in the electronic band Azari & III, and hailing from Rwanda originally. 

Ihorere is an atmospheric afro house track with deep vocals and a spiritual depth through a crystal-edged production. 

The Floyd Lavine Remix brings the African Tales label owner's touch to the original, adding more percussive elements and letting the groove to expand in his own inimitable way. 

He also shares an instrumental version for the DJs wanting to switch up the vocal with the original. 
Elsewhere Zakem, the Morocco producer making big waves recently, brings his own energy to the original, with a techy, emotional take on the track.

An African nomad, Floyd Lavine mines inspiration wherever he goes. From the
vibrant musical scene of his homeland, drawing influence from local South
African Djs like Oskido, Vinny Da Vinci , to the heady East London party scene
during a six-year stint in the UK capital.
Moving to Berlin in 2016, he soaked up the vibes of the cityʼs world-leading
house and techno scene, but always went his own way establishing RISE, an
Afro House collective that staged monthly events at Watergate and across
Europe.
Floydʼs sound is the sum of his parts; cross-genre, with broad appeal; heʼs
played everywhere from CTM Festival, Panorama Bar and Black Coffeeʼs Ibiza
residency.

In 2021 sees Floyd launch his new imprint Afrikan Tales focusing on pushing
fresh new Afro future sounds
