to play again at an "own" small and secret open air, after all this crazy covid time, was already a maximum special itself.

the fact that the whole thing took place one weekend after the second mini fUSION, that I had the sunset slot again and the fact that sooo many beautiful and personally known human children were dancing sooo nice and happy in front of me, makes me write this text with ultra goosebumps again. 🥰

...after I discovered such a fluffy bouncy sunshine sound on the little aTOMIC cHESTNUT fESTIVAL with my bro @paablitoo as "Warm & wÜRZIG", this time I felt like combining this worldly sound with some sentimental classics à la "Super Flu & Monkey Safari", because this special sound, around the time of 2012, has a very special connection to the deepest section of my heart, so that I actually had tears in my eyes while playing the outro track - those who really know me, know why...... 💞

thanks LoVE cREW, thanks sOKO kICKLOCH and massive thanks to all the beautiful dancing hearts - this was another gig I will tell my grandchildren about....

finally @meta_de & me could play at this unbelievably magical place together again and after we had already played more forward as usual last year, we really tried to hit the big one this time...

we had the honour to play the friday closing set at "our" breathtaking aTOMIC cHESTNUT fESTIVAL on the mainstage and thus to play from the bright day into the dark night and, also influenced by our fusion festival experiences, we chose a slightly darker and minimal sound w/ some psychedlic parts.

...you can almost hear the sun go down during the set. hahaaa

thanks to all who made this unique event possible again!

this was another deep experience we will never forget!

maaaauuuuuzzzz ! ! !

so after playing a lot faster at our last gigs, we have activated our old original love for newly interpreted slower and wicked sound.

inspired again by own dance experiences, we set off to new peaks, climbed some new mountains to land in a new weird but once again nice trippy and groovy flow of unexpected and wild... 😇😈

the 'Goldener Salon' upstairs, when the techno floor downstairs is closed and everyone comes upstairs again to dance the final in the billowing fog and the daylight coming in from outside through the windows covered with gold foil... the pleasant intermingling of all present, the energy and the love for each other made this spectacle massivley epic again...

also the fact that this gig will be a revival of our 2o19 hafenklang slot, where we already had the honour to play the grande finale from o7-10h, made this set so unique and special for us.

on top it was also special as we both had birthdays the week before the party and therefore the big cake was also made for our own birthday party... this time without a broken rib, but with a crazy 'moment' for one of us after the last beat... 

it was simply unique, intense and wild again!

...unfortunately we had some technical problems during the recording, so we decided to cut the part that was not really pleasant to listen to, so do not wonder that at about 1 hour 25 minutes there is a little break fade transition - but better that way than all stop listening. 🤷🏽‍♂️

we just wanted to let this wild piece of rave history off the leash, as we are sure that we will flash some people around the globe with it.

so here is the recording of my second set, which I played at our magical little private bauernhof festival in good old Brandenburg.

it was the second last set of the festival, in the night to sunday (from about o2-o43oh), where I played on the bar floor called 'BEATSCHUPPEN' and I simply reinterpreted a selection of "Warm & wÜRZIG" tracks in medium slow.

started with bitchy schneck house, took a turn towards apocalyptica and since I wasn't allowed to stop playing, I added some hinkelstein tracks in the end.

...to be honest: it was late, it was wild, which you can hear a bit in the somewhat exaggerated use of the filters! but hey: it was huge and I wanted to spread this journey, though!

hola holaaaaa °

so here is finally the recording of my first performance on our epic farm festival project.

as I played this set during the day outside, in the best sunshine setting, on this magical and lovingly redesigned floor behind the big barn (with the great new name 'GEOMETRY OF SCENERY'), it was finally time for me to combine my beloved 'world sound' with the typical 'bachstelzen sound', which captivates me year after year every Monday at my golden fUSION fESTIVAL ! ! !

I had an incredible amount of goosebump moments watching so many beautiful people dancing in front of me in the sun and the massive fog arrangementss... 😍

unfortunately I had some technical problems, which can be heard in an unbelievably terrible transition, where one track completely flew out of all orbits and for whatever reason the recording stopped just half an hour before the end, so that the grande finale is unfortunately missing... 🙄

but despite everything I wanted to share this great moment with my friends and the rest of the world who are following me or will follow and do not know yet. hahaaa

...and yes, I know that I (again, ffs!) used the effect buttons a little too often and emotionally aaaand also that my belly looks a bit too present in the photo! 

but fuxx it > this is all unfiltered and with maximum LoVE ! ! !

to close the summer season we have organized a last "SOKO LOVE OPEN AIR" at the most stunning spot for me (and many) in all of Hamburg and it was so emotional for me as exactly there, on this famous old harbor scale, back in 2o18, my very first surprise gig alias fLOYD tRAVIS has taken place.

furthermore I rarely had it that sooo many young new ravers have given me so much positive feedback after a gig and on the next morning I had 6 new followers and even got contacted twice when the set will be online. wohooo

it's a spontaneous and improvised new interpretation of various playlistst that I've played here and there and I've also seen it again as an open air action set and consciously let myself be taken by the wild dark flashing harbor athmosphere and fell in love with my good old friend mr. filter button and also the cut-break transitions wanted to jump out here and there . . .

after all the times I or we organised a wild party in this venerable place at the STERNBRÜCKE, the last SOKO LOVE SOLI RAVE was under a very special star, as there will be no more parties in these old place, because the said bridge and with it the old fundbureau will be torn down pretty soon, after over 30 years...

also since the clocks were set back one hour to german wintertime that night, the whole thing had something extra special and so I chose some exciting and partly challenging tracks for this special evening and let my love for the fluffy driving 'arschwackel bachstelzen' sounds fuse with my well-known love for worldly elements and so I'm glad that it was once again an absolute highlight for me and all the permanently grinning and dancing people infront of me.

look forward to a two-hour journey around the world with various stops in africa and especially in south america, enjoy the bongo percussion sound and the life-affirming mood of this intoxicating music!

to support our hamburg club culture, we from SOKO KICKLOCH organised a 12 hours FRÜHKLUB (10-22h) in the GOLDENER SALON of HAFENKLANG, which was declared as a SOLI RAVE and where we donated all the proceeds to the club, to keep them existing!

the decoration was super green and jungle-like and so I decided to play a few new bangers as well as some of my favourite worldy summer tracks.

...the party was wild, so was the set and everything anyway. 🙃

it was such a good feeling playing so much new tracks and so it was like picking flowers to see how the floor got fuller and fuller and in the end the place was on fire and full of energy & love!

bRA bRAAA bRAAAA ! ! !

since I haven't missed a single fUSION since 2001, when I was just 19 years old, you can imagine how special it was for me to get the chance to play a set myself for the first time ever at my fUSION #23 . . . 🤩

...and it was just as special as you can imagine ! ! ! 

not only was I thrilled to get such an amazing slot on the main night from saturday to sunday, right at midnight and in the middle of the hustle and bustle, directly in front of the 'Räuber*innenhöhle', but it also made me a little nervously excited beforehand... but once I pressed play and made the first transitions slightly shaky, it more or less went by itself, and I'm so happy that this musical bounce journey has been recorded and to now share it with the world!

since I am a fan of various genres myself and this set is so special, I tried to build up some suspense, starting off easy and then, after about half an hour, playing for an hour of peak time, incorporating tracks from various subgenres and a little storytelling.

I am incredibly grateful for all the great positive feedback I received during and after my set, and I definitely had one of my most amazing moments in good old Lärz... 😍

...will never forget how, at around 01h, a huge firework went off right behind the floor, and with every glittering bang I could see how packed the pop-up floor was... 💫

big shout-out to everyone at SOKO Kickloch for this awesome 'TechnoTischTennis' format and a huge hug to @raoulfunkler for trusting in me and making my lifelong dream come true!
