For the last episode of Crates & Waves this year, Moose Dawa gives a laidback and cozy all-jazz selection from his record-collection, specially curated for the season. The first hour of the show included tracks from important names in the jazz-spectra such as Bill Evans, Ramsey Lewis, Freddie Hubbard & Monty Alexander to name a few. Some of the selected tracks have also been used as samples in some of his released music. 

Aron Mody

Aron Mody is a DJ & producer born and based in Malmö, Sweden, and is also one of the co-founders of the collective/label Alleycat Anthem together with Moose Dawa. Over the years he has created a local buzz through his energetic and playful sets throughout different established clubs in his hometown. Although he hasn’t put out any music yet, he has managed to give a glimpse of his talents in production by sneaking in one and another home-made track here and there while he performs. Aron Mody has over the years created a taste for finding new music in different genres, wether digitally or in the crates and integrating them in his production and in his sets.

For this guest-mix he gives us an eclectic pot of different genres and vibes with varying tempos and a taste of what’s currently being played in his household. You’ll find tracks from The Alchemist, Jay Worthy, Sault, Surprise Chef to name a few.
