As sister label to the Meanwhile behemoth, the Horizons offshoot continues to expose listeners to a dynamic and varied sonic portfolio. Heralding a new release that captures the essence of the Meanwhile Horizons sound, Weird Sounding Dude now delivers “Passing Thoughts”, a sparkling musical narrative that navigates a clear path through the serene blue waters of glistening melody and rolling rhythmic waves.

A best-selling artist who regularly finds himself in the upper echelons of the Organic and Progressive House charts, Weird Sounding Dude is a favourite on esteemed imprints including Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden and Armen Miran’s Hoomidaas.

Making his Meanwhile Horizons debut, “Passing Thoughts” encapsulates the Bangalore based artist’s penchant for chunky grooves and rich melodic layers. Evolving over a smooth 8-minutes, a syncopated melody sits snugly against the percussive top-line and 8th note bassline. Elegant chord progressions drift enticingly across proceedings, exposed fully at the beatless breakdown before the title track hits its stride once more in the latter stages.

“Doorway to Amatsu” continues the melodic and rhythmic foundation as an arpeggiated sequence sits perfectly atop ticking hit-hat percussion and powerful metronomic beat. Breaking up the mesmerising repeated motif, white-noise swells and beautifully constructed pads pulsate gently in sonic waves, particularly at the stripped back mid-point before the tracks picks up the pace once more in the second half.

The final track sees “Explorer To Mars” entice listeners with a smorgasbord of elegantly sculpted counterpoint melodies that captivate with a stunning and effortless vibrancy. A clicking percussive groove provides dynamism as it sits in exquisite harmony with shaker urgency and swung groove. White-noise risers add layers of atmosphere as another sonic marvel becomes a timeless classic.

'In 2020, no artist contributed more music to Silk Music than Meeting Molly, whose cinematic compositions blend a variety of deep, progressive, and organic house grooves and atmospheric textures. His first offering of 2021, the two-track “Jangitau" release, is a breathtaking house EP, which once again showcases his immense talent for crafting visionary, ethnic electronic soundscapes.

Meeting Molly’s stirring “Lilly Goes Her Own Way” is an especially memorable composition. In the early going, organic percussion and hauntingly beautiful strings provide the backdrop for a repeating vocal chant. The suspenseful buildup in the opening few minutes gives way to a heartrending vocal sequence in the main breakdown, supported by especially poignant orchestration. In the final movement of the arrangement, the central groove reemerges and delivers a cathartic emotional release to the listener.'

Member of @Chimemakers ...however all the brilliant tracks found on the @Chimemakers page are the creativity/skill and dedication of Adam Eurich...Adam was my mentor as a dj and steered me towards all the great music/artist and labels that shaped my style today...primarily house music...coming from W.P.B.  FLA....most people were only exposed to the breakbeats heard exclusively at any local club or party..We have played together for 25 years and hence developed a wonderful chemistry from the experience and very similar views on what great music is...we very rarely promoted ourselves to gain recognition as it just wasn't our style, we let our sets do the "talking"....Adam has chosen to stick with that approach with his production work...i.e. not paying to be listed on "Soundclouds" "artist you should follow" etc...I am confident that while it may take longer for the music to fall into the "right" hands...it can only be a matter of time... with 50+  amazing tracks and counting... @Chimemakers will be a staple alongside of the rest of the heavyweights producing epic music...So do yourself a favor and go give the tracks posted a listen! thanx...for booking feel free to contact Adam Eurich or myself @Jason Neering ....
