Under My Feet. Beyond Sound w/ DE:MA & ISABASSI

The second release from experimental arts collective Under My Feet. comes from Incendie – the solo moniker of Berlin-based multimedia artist Arthur Bdt.

Known for his work as part of various collaborative projects such as ATT Corp (with Templer), Human Spine, and Axes of Fire, ‘Relief’ is Bdt’s debut album, and acts as a musical diary used to express and accept his feelings; marked by grim and abrasive sonics, this work and its composition are based around the need to face fears and uneasy emotions. Merging contemporary electronic music with metal and noise influences, Incendie defines the sound of the record through the blending of drone, industrial and deconstructed club sounds with heavy guitar and vocals.

Kashaiof (ַּכָשיֹוף) is the duo project of Eyal Lally Bitton and Itzik Gil Avizohar both core members of the extreme art collective, studio and underground venue Studio Straus.

This album offers the view of a multi-layered horizon under which Bitton and Avizohar sculpt a dreamlike sonic emotional world, built on unanswered questions.

‘MA ’ by Kashaiof will be released digitally and on limited edition cassette.

Marking eight years in existence and the and the close of its first chapter, UNDER MY FEET. presents its first compilation: Farewell Notes. 

With contributions from artists close to UMF., Farewell Notes celebrates an approach to music that is rebellious in nature and defies expectations to construct its own narrative. it’s a space for artists who have inspired the growth of the noise and experimental scenes around the world to express themselves freely.

the v/a moves through a range of abstract textures and emotions – the hypnotic rhythms and distinctive sounds of Orphx, Volsent and Ciarra Black contrast the soothing, melancholic loops from Vanity Productions and Alessandro Adriani. Chloe Lula,  Kashaiof, DE:MA and Vera Spektor reach for spiritual and ritualistic narratives, Incendie and Silent Servant take an approach rooted in  post-punk & metal, while the psychic & distorted noises of Roxy Farman, Tot Onyx, Hüma Utku complement an exclusive collaboration between Ireen Amnes & Drew McDowall.
