"Flying was written in memoriam of the late Jóhann Jóhannsson and was the piece that inspired me to finish my album, You Are Here. This version was recorded live on a winter day in my living room in Iceland straight to a tape machine which you can hear purring in the background. I feel that this piece is very much inspired by the winters which dictate the tempo and mood of life here."

This album's concept "If Takumi and Peter make the song for a quiet midnight".
With naive voice and quiet melody, Takumi & Peter delicately presents

one of the representative figure in the scene.
In this "glimmer", all his pieces are recorded at Grunewald church in Berlin.
Adding the peculiar atmosphere to church and reverberation to his
pieces,his pieces ever more simple and deeply resounding.
These pieces are truely the songs for "night".You can't stop shutting
eyes and deeply absorbed into it.

Tokyo’s flau record label cerebrate their 10-year anniversary with the 'Waltz Compilation'. The album was also called "A dance to draw circle" in Japan, with each artist producing an interpretation of the meaning of the waltz. 

Artists included span the globe from Europe, South America, Australia and Japan: Danny Norbury, Kanazu Tomoyuki, Ensemble 0, Fábio Caramuru, Otto A. Totland, Rayons, Sophie Hutchings, Frédéric D. Oberland, HAU (Henning Schmiedt + aus), Takeo Toyama and MayMay.

The title DeeDee is a clue to the approach behind it’s creation and the whole track is a larger hint for what’s in store on the EP. D and E are the pitches around which the track is built, but these notes are also taken from an earlier release and this is the theme of the track and the EP. It is all made from bits and pieces of Leah’s previous releases that have been reconstituted and repurposed to create new music (A copyright lawyers nightmare). The single also has birds as a theme at it’s heart which is evident from the video for DeeDee which breaks up flocks and murmurations of birds into patterns which mesmerise and at times resemble Rorschach tests.

DeeDee is out on 11th Feb with the full EP 'Bird Rib' out on 19th March.
