Bouffant Bouffant is a DJ, Producer, and party starter from New Orleans, Louisiana. He cut his teeth in local sex clubs, warehouses, and dive bars but has become a major player on the bubbling American Queer Underground nightlife circuit as well as International jaunts to play for the likes of Buttons Berlin and Savage Hanoi. His monthly party Gimme A Reason has been fostering space for queer nightlife in New Orleans for over 9 years. He’s also 1/3 of queer and women lead DJ collective Trax Only and 1/2 of DJ duo Babygirl. Trax Only have become infamous for their one off warehouse raves that expose New Orleans to a plethora of national and international queer talent as well as their compilation SOFT TOUCH EXPRESS, a survey of producers from the American Queer Underground.

"A couple weeks ago I played the first Buttons party in Berlin with zero Covid restrictions at a beautiful new venue in Treptower Park. This mix is the first hour of that set. It was sunrise and the sun peaked through floor to ceiling windows of a gorgeous ballroom packed with the most beautiful queer babes. It was one of the most special sets of my life and one of the best parties I've ever attended. I wanted to stamp that moment in time with this mix."

Next up, we welcome the East Coast's Alex Burkat. No stranger to eclecticism, from his humble beginnings as an electroclash live performer as Pfunkt in 2007, to his exploration into darker UK centric and Detroit bass music as Rx in 2009, Alex Burkat got his start exploring the boundaries of electronic music intensity.

In 2013, he shifted gears into the realm of all things House and Techno, with his breakthrough record "Shower Scene" on Mister Saturday Night Records. Since then he has been rocking lofts, warehouses and intimate music venues all over the Philadelphia and New York City area. 

As an extension of his eclectic mixed bag style of deep house influenced club music, he has started the DJ party and mix
series Ancient Puzzle Arts, with Upstairs at the 700 in Philadelphia as his home. 🧩

Alex certainly shows no sign of slowing down, with various
singles & EPs scheduled to drop in 2024. He's delivered a mix of all original productions, celebrating 11 years of making Alex Burkat music. 🎈
