With mainstream drum and bass exploding in popularity across the globe, the underground Stateside scene continues to thrive in its shadows.

Exemplified by the likes of the FLUID crew who has most recently burst into view with a series of high-profile events in cities ranging from Salt Lake City to Phoenix to Sacramento and Asheville, Nc, FLUID is quickly becoming a name that is synonymous with quality dancefloor drum and bass that leans to the deeper side of the dancefloor at times.

Envisioning themselves as a community of music lovers who embrace the sound of drum and bass as a way of life, FLUID envisions its events as an extension of the community that transcends musical genres and brings people together from all walks of life. The power of breakbeats and basslines form the genetic code from which each event seeks to bring to life.

With past, present and future artists ranging from Artificial Intelligence, LTJ Bukem, Alix Perez, Craze, Aphrodite, Reid Speed, and Nightstalker having blessed the FLUID stages with their vision, it should be obvious that the FLUID ethos is one centered on a belief in the power of the DJ to move us, to take us on a journey, and to elevate our spirits.

With a goal of creating a space for music that moves your mind, body, and soul, FLUID is also proud introduce a new mix series with founder Johnny Law leading the way. The emphasis for all FLUID mixes will be not only on representing a wide range of styles, vibes, and subgenres within the drum and bass family, but in providing a showcase for DJs to take listeners on a proper journey.

Johnny Law’s own inaugural mix sets the pace with a seamless flow through a range of breathtaking emotional vistas and powerful transitions that only hint at the heat still to come from international superstars and hometown heroes alike.
