Say hello to Blyss! From our first encounter at her Radio Weltspiele transmission, Blyss completely won us over not only with her technical skillz. She proves in this mix again an absolute knack for own taste and selection. She presents us a club-ready set as we love it at a later hour: A bit dark without the annoying epos in it, and many cross references to Dub-Techno, Detroit and EBM. To us it`s the perfect soundtrack for an overcrowded basement rave with no emergency exit and sparse lighting! Thank you @blyssm .

Elena (sie/ihr) lebt in Berlin, ist Teil vom Kollektiv Rosa Brisante (www.instagram.com/rosa_brisante/) und von Root Radio Istanbul (rootradio.live/). Ihre Musik bewegt sich vor allem zwischen Progressive House und Trance, mit Breakbeat-Ausflügen.

“eva aka eves120 was born and raised in dresden, saxony but living in Leipzig for more than 3 years now. She started djing in 2017 influenced by the disco genre from her crew called palais palett. With time taste changes so does hers and she said goodbye to disco after some years. For the last years she is know for faster breaks mixed with proggy house up to electro. Since more than a year she is resident of the well known objekt klein a in Dresden after working there for years and grown up at this beautiful place”. 

Maybe I am wrong but when I started djing 6 or 7 years ago it feels like that was the time things started to change a bit? Because before I had one of my first gigs a guy I didn’t really know that well came to me and said ‘u are djing? That’s cool because I am looking for a female DJ for my line up’. He never heard anything that I played. At that time I was just happy and honored that someone even ask me to play but when I think about this today it feels weird. Cause that was not the last time I’ve heard that kind of sentences. Don’t get me wrong, mixed line ups are important and we are definitely on a good way but in my opinion music should always be the priority. So listen to female DJs and book them if u like their music, not the other way around. Besides this I have to say for now I feel very comfortable as a female DJ in this business, but especially support from other flintas feels always great. So don’t stop supporting each other :-)

OLIV is one co-founder of ZENA and part of Fluid Festival. She is a music lover and explorer at heart. For several years she has been turning knobs and records - always varying between different genres such as Experimental, Electroacoustic Music, House, Breakbeat, Electro, Acid and Bass. Since some months she also hosts her own bi-monthly radio show linger for a moment on Callshop Radio.

Acidfinky (she/they) is a German/Algerian DJ and producer based in Berlin. She is a Golden Pudel (Hamburg) and THF Radio resident, member of the feminist collective BLVSH and founder of Twisting Knobs Records. She usually plays “crispy
sounds”, an umbrella term she uses to define heavy basslines combined with sharp drums and ear candy.
