When I heard Shakiras song Try Everything from the movie Zootopia i was blown away by the similarites between Dixie Chicks Goodbye Earl. I noticed that alot of people has not noticed this so i Googled it and found a tweet about it from microdile which helped me recognize what song it was so similar to. I just had to do a mashup.

So i took the karaoke version Goodbye Earl and a Try Everything version in both a capella and instrumental. I't all merged together in Audacity.

They both are around the bpm (between 110-120bpm). And the Goodbye Earl is played in C and Try Everything in C#.

I changed the speed and key in Try Everything to match Goodbye Earl.


In 2000 Dixie Chicks released the song Goodbye Earl and is a song written by Dennis Linde. The song was initially recorded by the band Sons of the Desert for an unreleased album in the late 1990s.

In 2016 Shakira sang Try Everything for the movie Zootopia and this was composed by Sia and Stargate (Tor Erik Hermansen & Mikkel Storleer Eriksen).
