I haven’t put up any new music for a while but this is the single for my new EP coming out in May. It’s an unofficial remix of Sylvan Esso’s “Hey Mami”. The vocal melodies of the original just had me hooked instantly and inspired me to make this!

The music I’ve been making lately is some of my best and I’m stoked to show you guys! I just finished driving/moving from Massachusetts to California and I have a lot of new inspiration and ideas for music! This is the tip of the fuckin iceberg. Enjoy :)

Having just dropped the track's trippy visuals, the NY band have clearly been having late night adventures in the woods involving a touch of grave digging and plenty of Pranayama breath yoga/shamanic dance routine. Produced in their Bushwick bedrooms, Tools is a real genre hybrid, with a contagious energy pulsating as the boys reflect on the state of our generation. Hey guys it's Royal, 

Some of you might not know this but I write, make beats, and... sing. A lot of people haven't caught on to the fact yet that I sing. Moving forward with both projects (SoySauce x Imad Royal) Imad Royal will continue to be an outlet for my artist project as a vocalist and I'll be taking some time off to transition into a live band (My last 2 shows ever DJ'ing as Royal will be on 12/16 in my hometown of Washington DC & HolyShip in January). Moving forward with SoySauce it'll be my outlet to DJ (We are also playing HolyShip in Jan) and put out electronic leaning records without any boundaries. During this transition period, I've taken down a lot of records I've done in the past that don't have me featured as a vocalist to lessen the confusion.
