Shaman's Quest

Flummox, aka Colin Mascarenhas is based in the Kingdom of Bahrain and is best known for his bewildering, high powered night time sets best described as high octane and energy driven.

After incidentally being exposed to psychedelic beats, the effect on Flummox was life changing. He began experimenting across the different genres of psytrance, but finally found his true passion in night time sounds. He likes to dish out hyper energy sets during sunrise, filled with bouncy, groovy basslines to take you on a mystifying journey from night into day. The energy on the dance-floor will not drop on his watch.

Flummox set out not only to play, but also to develop the psy- trance scene in Bahrain and played a key role in organizing Lunar Fest 2010, the first ever psy-trance festival in the Middle East. Artists such as Protoculture, Asimilon, Dirty Saffi and Psymmetrix shared the decks with him at this unforgettable event.
