Ballata Della Notte | Till Indy

This new piano piece is written for four hands and a lot of reverb ;-) It consists of two parts: The first player continually plays the same ostinato in octaves but greatly varies the volume throughout the piece. The second player has got the melody part. It is structured in an imitatory way: after playing the full melody the counterpoint mirrors every interval of the main melody. The bassline however is just a longer version of the original melody. After a short interlude all melodies develop into a particular version of the ostinato und end in a quick crescendo. 

This instrumental was inspired by the marvelous soundtrack of the Christopher Nolan movie interstellar by Hans Zimmer.

A few years ago I was very desperate because everyone around me had a boyfriend and I didn't. I felt like I was the only one unlucky in love. Perhaps this little piano piece can give a little consolation if you haven't found the right partner yet, the right love. Because the right love, that is good for you, will find you ❤️❤️❤️
I composed the little piano piece in one evening and, as so often, I improvised on the piano and created this melody which - like all other melodies - I couldn't get out of my head 😂
