This song originally started as a live trio Jam session (Drums, Bass, and Piano) that was recorded in Jack's Basement in early January 2020. Later on there was overdubbing of other tracks to make it what it is now. 

This song is about driving along Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, late at night and taking about life and other things.

There has been some strict orders to stay at home during the spread of Coronavirus across the World. So I thought I would make a song with inspiration from it to help pass the time.

As I work on this song more I will keep reuploading the most up to date version.

Quarantined - Demo

My name is Devin Alexander I produce and play multiple instruments in my spare time.

Plays Guitar, Bass, Keys, Vocals, and sometimes Saxophone. 

I work with a long time friend and drummer Jack Gordon as my main collaborator to these songs. Unless otherwise noted, Jack is the drummer on these tracks.

We get together for occasional jam sessions a few times a year, most of which we record in the drummer’s basement in the Chicago suburbs. It is from some of these jam sessions that some of these songs began. 

Other contributors featured from time to time include Jack’s brother Paul Gordon and Jack’s cousin Adam Kline. 

We’ve explored genres from Indie, Jazz Fusion, Psych Rock, RnB, and Pop.
