Is this 2 some minutes all that exists of the Triudan “EP”. I only ask because all 4 tracks are awesome, and I cant find any other mention of it!

Tracing the evolution of the track "Diary Burner" from last year's album PLACEHOLDER. The various versions at different stages of development are crossfaded into each other. Starting as a "home made 808" jam, some ominous chords are added, a funky bassline joins the party and the vocoder gets involved. The last 35 seconds are from the final version, the iconic track that we all know and love :D

The initial track was saved on January 25th 2021 at 13:41 and the mixdown of the final version on August 29th 2021 at 17:27, so now you know.

Is this interesting to you? I'm always thrilled to hear early or alternative versions of tracks I like, so that's why I did this. If you want me to dig out some more "evolutions", click the heart and / or leave a comment. If not then fine, I can just delete this later and we can all move on as if nothing happened, OK?

mostly vst's, forgot which ones, definitely a few fullbucket ones (fb3200 and the deputy), vcv rack, some hardware, k5m/sh01a/606, etc etcccccc
