Aspetuck is an American producer & DJ fascinated by groove & rhythm as well as the hypnotic nature of the deeper sides of electronic music. Growing up in sleepy Vermont, without easy access to any inkling of a nightlife scene, the internet was Aspetuck's only form of musical discovery for those formative days. Years later, after living in both Brooklyn and Los Angeles, Aspetuck was very quickly drawn into the robust nightlife cultures of both cities that was so absent in the rural hills of the northeast. He is not only inspired by the current scene but also heavily inspired by genres outside of the contemporary electronic world including but not limited to krautrock, dub, new wave / post-punk, shoegaze, jazz, soul & funk.  Immersing himself in both music production and photography, two creative outlets that seemingly complement & balance each other, he is quietly finding his voice with the help of a broad range of influences to draw from.

We all need to heal, we all need to learn to release people, things and unhealthy attachments we keep in our lives or within ourselves. It is not easy when it comes to relationships, friendships, family and our own internal attachments related to our past experiences, but as soon as we realize that some of those emotional bonds are blocking our growth and well-being, we need to make the decision to let go.

For all those who are going through such an uneasy period in life, I have prepared a little meditative journey bringing the Peace from the faraway Worlds. This one is the very first one which is fully spiritually oriented and it evolves in slow 111 BPM. 

With every mix I have ever prepared I healed myself from different kind of bad energies, emotional pain and mental struggles, and this Hypnotherapy of mine is dedicated to release our negative attachments specifically.

Psycho Panther returns with another deep and atmospheric journey, delivering four meticulously crafted tracks that balance rhythm and melody with precision. Mood Series #134 highlights his ability to create intricate sonic landscapes that are expansive and hypnotic.
‘Vertex’ opens with a vast expanse of atmospheric chords, crisp percussion and an evolving structure that unfolds over ten minutes. Layers of sound build and shift, pulling the listener deeper into its hypnotic sway. A strong opener that pulls you in for the experience ahead. Following up, ‘Lethal Ballet’ leans into a tougher groove, its steady pulse driving through a haze of melody. The break offers a dreamlike moment before the beat snaps back in, layering rhythms that subtly shift the track’s momentum. It’s a piece built on movement and contrast, blending toughness with elegance. ‘Attitude’ slows things down with a broken beat structure, weaving moody keyboard tones into a mesmerising web of percussive cycles. There’s an effortless depth to the composition, its melodies unfurling like autumn air—crisp, cool and full of space to breathe. The production feels fluid yet intentional, shaping an atmosphere that lingers. Closing out, ‘I Felt That’ takes a deeper dive with strong chord progressions and a rolling bassline that washes over the senses. Reverb-soaked textures give it an almost liquid quality, while a rising melody adds a moment of transcendence. A well-placed break allows for a final plunge into the depths, making for a striking conclusion.
Each track here carves its own space while maintaining a cohesive flow. Psycho Panther refines his approach with this release, delivering a collection that pulls you in deep and won't let go.

VIT, a producer hailing from Kharkiv, Ukraine, makes his debut on the ever-growing Mood Series with Spotting, the 138th release in the series. The opener, 'Spotting', has an active bassline that commands attention. It grooves effortlessly with crisp production, while the breezy, aquatic melodic elements conjure an island-like feel. The use of tribal percussion adds a primal edge while the chords here float like woodwind instruments, delivering a sense of calm and beauty that lingers throughout. 'Indistinctive' follows with a more taught and precise beat, setting the track's pulse with a rolling bassline. The busy chord work plays a crucial role in building the track’s energy, providing the main hook that balances out the intensity. The intricate interplay between the bass and chord progressions keeps the track moving, with a subtle tension that drives the track forward. 'Reflections' takes a darker turn, with deeper tones and a serious mood. The aggressive bite of the chords contrasts beautifully with the rolling bass, providing a sense of tension and release.
