Naples-based up-and-comer Mystics is making impressive explorations in the underground scene. His fourth output will land on 47 and marks the apex of his heads down, rolling approach to techno and a development of his left-field futuristic sound.

The extended six-track EP sets the scene with “The Unexplored Pt. 1,” a strung out opener that spits out irradiant shards of glitch and gated vocals. The rest of the EP builds a cohesive canvas from this sonic palette. In “The Unexplored Pt. 2,” washes of static and breakbeats barrel under a drone-like pad, while “Oxford RM” steamrolls ahead with four-to-the-floor kick drums, barbed wire textures and an orbiting melody. On the B-side, the artist leans into his penchant for IDM with “But If” and “Shrouded In Mystery” with their wormhole, Warp-like ambience.Never leaning too far into the past, these songs form a collection of visionary rhythmic techno, conjuring a vision of a world that is as movingly melancholic as it is haunting and spare.

A guitarist at heart, and heavily influenced by the various scenes across the Channel, Iannis Rezgui began producing and DJing in 2015. At the same time, he co-founded Material Paris, with whom he made his debut. For 5 years, he organised a number of warehouse and club events with the collective, notably at Le Batofar and Le Sacré, and shared the bill with various players on the techno scene, including Pas-Sage, Electronic Feeling and La Quarantaine. 
Strongly inspired by artists such as Blawan and Hector Oaks, the producer is already showing a particular interest in high bpm and organic textures. 
But it was in 2020 that the artist decided to launch his solo project, keen to explore and develop his vision of techno without limits. This was followed by 2 years of intensive production, enabling Iannis Rezgui to assert an advanced aesthetic, combining the foundations of deep, mental techno with rhythms approaching trance. His tracks eventually came to the attention of François X and Elise Massoni, who played them regularly at the Berghain and on Rinse and Boiler Room. 
The year 2023 marked the real start of the artist's career, with an appearance on Maison Close's 5th various and a highly acclaimed appearance at Le Virage, alongside Laze, Caiva and JKS. Iannis Rezgui signed his first solo EP to Marseille-based label Matière Production, whose tracks have already been played by the likes of Anetha, Mama Snake and Nina Kraviz.

Chris Finke is an international DJ, producer, promoter and after dinner
entertainer from London. A regular at clubs including Fabric, The End,
Sankeys, Firefly, Chris also plays all over the world touring in
Europe, Asia, the USA, and 2008 saw him visit Japan for the first time.
He is resident DJ at the legendary Atomic Jam in Birmingham, and has
held international residencies in both Spain and Belgium. Along with
running and recording for his respected Flux Recordings record label
which has released material from Joey Beltram, Ben Sims, Mark Broom,
Paul Woolford and many more, he ran the infamous Split parties in
London with Ben Sims &amp; Andi Hawes. He and Ben Sims also produced
and presented the hugely popular Split Radio Show for 3 years. In 2008
he began a new project in London called "The Drop", and is presenting a
new radio project of the same name with DJ Rebekah. Production wise, he
has remixed artists including Mark Broom and A Guy Called Gerald and
released music on various labels

Andi Hawes is the power behind front man of Flux Recordings, Chris
Finke. Andi, the secret shadowy "Decisions Man" figure, is Co Owner of
the label runs all the behind the scenes organisation. Andi has been
involved in the music industry since 1999 when chris approached him to
help step up the Flux cause. Ever since that day, we haven't looked
back [We Daren't!!!]. Andi is no stranger to music and promotion as he
has been, and still is, involved in the Split parties that Chris and
Ben Sims fronted since 2003. He is also involved in the Balance parties
which see him and Ben as SPLIT hook up with Jim Masters ands his "BASE"
outfit and Lula and Elvis with their WANG parties. The collaboration
has taken London by storm recently and plan to move on to Europe soon.
