The new chapter of the Sonic Textures series created by the Berlin-based label Syncretism (https://soundcloud.com/syncretismrecords) keeps on breaking the music schemes with six songs characterized by rough metallurgic and industrial sounds, claustrophobic rhythms and dense noise layers. The artwork by Gino Tremila, influenced by abstract painting, suits very well with the music contained in the release. After a tape release on the prolific Los Angeles-based label Chondritic Sound, the Israeli multidisciplinary duo Kashaiof (@kashaiof), whose members, Eyal Bitton & Itzik Avizohar, also feature in the cultural context of "Studio Straus", are about to make their second tape release with Under My Feet. (@undermyfeetldn), a project active on several artistic fields. Under My Feet. has organized multidisciplinary parties with some of the most interesting projects of the recent years, and recently it has also become a label, which, until now, has released two tape releases. These were respectively made by Ireen Amnes & Kamikaze Space Programme (@ireenamnes, @kamikaze-space-programme) and by Incendie (@incendie0). Incendie is the music project of the manager of the Area Z (@area-zed) label.

Their third tape release, which will be released on February 25th, contains six snapshots of the Jerusalem duo's artistic-musical universe, influenced by experimental music practices such as musique concrete, filtered through the musicians' geographical and musical lenses. "MA", the title of the release, a word that in Hebrew means "What" and that in Japanese means "negative space, gap or pause", both highlights the interest, on the part of Under My Feet., in embracing a wide range of styles, without fossilizing on standardized formulas, and in promoting projects that develop not only on the musical level, but also on the artistic one, and this is a trademark of the project.

In Kashaiof's music we find different but linked elements: the characteristic features of their songs are the sound research and the attention to details, as well as the refusal of easy classification, but what gives added value to their proposal is the ritualistic and spiritual elements emerging, for example, in a song like ZVUV (זבוב), which we premiere today; a long mantra in which we find different elements evoking the performative dimension. Effected voices, percussion, noisy drones and much more give to the listener the improvisational character of their music, that could be experienced as a multisensory experience in which the listener lives an experience outside of everyday reality.

The Italian label Frenesia (@frenesiarecords) has just released its fourth release, which is its third Various Artists on tape, entitled Choices For Instability, including six songs by artists such as Magnum Opus, Zumal (@zumalmusic) (founder of the label) and the song which we premiere today. Summoning is the result of the collaboration between Kay Mascara and Opioid Slot Machine (@opioidslotmachine). 

Opioid Slot Machine is also the founder of the Greek label OSM Tapes (@osmtapes), with which he has published releases by artists such as Unhuman & Petra Flurr, Alpha Sect, C​́​yan ID and Penelope's Fiance, among others.

In Summoning we find a strong rhythm-centered techno track heavily influenced by old rhythmic noise music, attacking the listener with industrial sounds and noise injections.

That of Drakkar Noir is the last release by the Milan-based label Fu.me., active since 2012. Reading its title "Means Of Control" and watching the artwork, it can easily be understood that the concept of this release is the evergreen topic of control in its wider meaning. Drakkar Noir does this recalling a retro imaginary also expressed in his songs, which have an old school electro sound. 

Today we premiere the remix of Calibrator done by Bakunin Commando, which transforms the original song in a frenetic and synthetic dancefloor-ready killer hit, which will be strongly appreciated by the followers of this music. 

That of Drakkar Noir is a sound which finds its roots also into the history of dystopic movies and which is also a reflection of the metropolitan human race with a retro touch.

Assassani - Arquitectura Hostil [FLUX Musical Art - CONNECTIONS F-001]

France based producer Mathis Kolkoz (Founder of Cold-Wave band Blind Delon) and singer Paul Brousse (member of Hardcore and Metal bands, Influence Néfaste, Liquid Flesh & Epitaphe) present to you their new project Pudeur on Area Z. “Pudeur”, meaning “delicacy” in French , also synonym for “gentleness” is a perfect incarnation of what this project is not about. The duo draws its influences from Punk-EBM and Black Metal and deliver to the audience a genre which Mathis likes to describe as Black Body Music.

The EP kicks off with its first track “My Mortal Cold” which is very representative of the spirit behind their output. The speed varying from 160 to 175 beats per minute throughout the EP creates a fresh rendering of EBM in a raw, staggering and tenacious manner.

Along with this ep will be a compilation of 4 remixes, which will be rather more dancefloor oriented, by members of the collective and other artists such as: Imperial Black Unit, The Undertakers Tapes in collaboration with Incendie, Chrome Corpse who previously released on Area Z and finally Mind/Matter.

Today we're proud to premiere a song included in the new Konstruktivists' release (https://soundcloud.com/konstruktivists), entitled Konstruktive Kontinuum. Konstruktivists are one of the most important historic industrial music projects, born approximately forty years ago by the mind of the ex-Whitehouse Glenn Michael Wallis. Mahk Rumbae joined the project in 1994. During the last years, Rumbae become even more known for his solo projects Antechamber and Codex Empire and for the collaborative projects Mitra Mitra, Ghost Actor and Oppenheimer MKII among the other projects. 

After having released a huge catalogue of different releases spanning a very wide range of electronic music genres and after having played his music in several countries, Mahk Rumbae has decided to create a new label, named Schalko, which first release is the new Konstruktivists' release Konstruktive Kontinuum, which has to be perceived as the final part of a trilogy begun five years ago with the release of Destiny Drive and Anarchic Arcadia. 

According to the words of Mahk Rumbae:

"Schalko is a new label based in Vienna, Austria, operated by Mahk Rumbae (Codex Empire / antechamber / Konstruktivists / mitra mitra) releasing limited edition vinyl releases focussed on electronic, experimental, minimal/wave and post-punk music. Each release will be housed in a hand-printed lino-cut sleeve, sealed with ribbon and wax, with a download code included.

Due to the limited nature of the releases (100 copies), physical products are only available direct from the label, with shipping costs kepts to a minimum)." 

The cover artwork is inspired by a work of Henryk Berlewi.

Torture in black is a song in which the rhythmic element is very important, enriched by the atmospheres evoked by Rumbae and emphasized by the vocals of Wallis, giving a certain hypnotic feel to this long song.

Inferno, that's the title of the EP, is the first release by the Argentinian musician based in Buenos Aires, especially known for being part of Knife (https://soundcloud.com/knife-arg).
