VOXI is a drum & bass DJ based in The Hague (NL). She started mixing just before lockdown and during that time she focused on developing her skills by livestreaming weekly together with her partner Hidden Circuit, who is co-founder of Soul Patrol. Her selection ranges from soulful liquid, deep and techy minimal to dark rollers. After the lockdown was over VOXI was committed to put herself out there. This resulted in her participation in a Liquicity Community Stream which landed her on the Nebula stage at Liquicity Festival after having won their DJ contest. 

After this milestone, VOXI wanted to create a safe space for herself and other female DJs. To share experiences and help each other achieve their ambitions. She began sharing this idea with other female DJs in her network, resulting in a DJ collective called FLUX/X, together with 6 DJ’s, covering the full spectrum of drum & bass. FLUX/X is a DJ collective and talent platform that encourages inclusive stages in the Dutch drum & bass scene.

Cranium Session S.1 - 015 - Homemade Weapons Guestmix

Next up for our mix series is Hydro, a name who has cemented himself within the underground scene with his heavy drum and bass weaponry. He has released on innumerable iconic labels including Metalheadz, CIA and Critical, as well as often collaborating with other heavyweights such as Total Science, Naibu and War. His highly anticipated debut album is forthcoming soon on Utopia Music. In the meantime, his latest offering is out now, ‘Not Too Late / Trick’ on DLR’s Sofa Sound label, a hefty collaboration that can also be found in this exclusive mix.. Every element of the mix is masterfully crafted, with each song playing a vital piece in building upon the atmosphere and groove of the previous, as well as being packed full of his own productions and exclusives.

Hydro will be rolling out at the Hangar at our SINE warehouse rave on 9th Nov, and we are honoured to have him there alongside the rest of the lineup.
