This track is inspired by a film made by the users of a wonderful local organisation, Carecent, which is a breakfast centre for all homeless, unemployed or otherwise socially excluded members of our community in York (UK).
The film, entitled 'In These Shoes' aims to  challenge the public perception around who can experience homelessness. 
The opening scene is of a Carecent user who is seen packing up his belongings after sleeping overnight in a shop doorway before setting off on his way for yet another day without a home. This was the inspiration for this song.

Sunrise, people on the street again			
Streetwise, I quickly get back on my feet again 	
And pack my bags before I’m on my lonely way	
Trying to get by another day
