Go that deep

Building a sauna and using it regularly at my home has turned out to be one of the most transformative practices i've discovered in recent years. 

Sitting in the hot dark and listening to music before bed and mixing with cold air, cold rain and/or cold water has enormous power to reset the mind, body and spirit. Especially before sleep. 

This is the second 'sauna mix' i've made and it's my hope that others will discover this age old practice and enjoy with the music i've selected to enhance the experience.

Time Waves

This mix was inspired by some of the people, places and sounds of Burning Man 2015. Some of which were never met, visited or heard.

Recorded Live during a sun-showered New Moon Rememberance day 2015 on Two Turntables and Serato. One take. 

Sequins

This one's got a lot of Guitars with some bass, funk, soul, blues and house all thrown into an 'electro-gumbo' of sorts.. The tracks on here have been in the can for a few years so it's been a long time comin'.

Recorded in on one take during Full Moon January 2016 on Serato, Two Turntables and Herbal Tea.

Mystic

Recorded July 19, 2016 on a late night full moon at home on Kootenay Lake on serato and turntables. Powered by raw chocolate, candles and palo santo. 



Diamond Moon

One of those magical nights alone with the volume cranked up.. Decided to press record and here's what happened.. Done in one take on Serato and 'herbal' tea.

This music ceremony was held in my yurt on Kootenay Lake, just outside Nelson, BC.

Night Potions

Recorded and Conceived on a Sunny Easter Sunday in the Yurt.

Voyage

Recorded in the Yurt under a blood red full moon, in a smoke filled sky, only hours after a large meteor hit the ground within miles.
