It was an honour to contribute in the Dragons Village this year. Thank you to everyone involved in such an incredible event, and to all that joined me for this breathwork journey.

Breathwork Journey - Dragon Dreaming '23

This special set is dedicated to the Middle East, all the souls lost and those who cannot dance in celebration due to oppression. As a woman of Middle Eastern ancestry living in the U.S., I felt called to create a special set in dedication to the homeland and all my family members, direct and indirect, in need of dance healing. The first 45 minutes of the set are all songs with a Middle Eastern influence and the last 45 minutes take you on a nostalgic, global journey, as an homage to our global soul family connection and touches on Latin, hip-hop, pop, and deep house vibez. We danced through the pain and grief and channeled our joy, I hope you can feel it through the sonic waves. 

The cover photo is a picture of my Persian & Indian grandma, Ketayun, shortly after she arrived to the U.S. posing in traditional Indian dance forms 💃🏽
