'shove off' is not to be confused with 'show off'. To shove off = cast away, set sail, depart etc.

This project started with some serious writer's block. So I used an old trick; borrowed the basic chord progression from another song. It is alsothe only song I ever learned to play on guitar; 

House of the Rising Sun by the Animals (1964). Listen and you'll notice!

The lyrics is a bit of a play with words, and double meanings. I wanted to create a sensation of majestic movement and flow, like travel on a large sail boat. Hence all the references to "Shoving off" and the "Sound of sound".

In their collaboration, 1921, both of their musical expressions have reached full force while being united in an almost unimaginable manner. David’s timeless melodies and angelic falsetto voice, are interlaced with Andreas Eklöf’s electronic-organic soundscape, full of harmony and counterpoint. Together, they create an electronic chamber music of sorts.
