She Wanna…

Quan is better known for his style and demeanor. He was born in Durham, North Carolina, a place he describes as having the hood and the good. Among the good would be the relationships he was able to develop in his family through his upbringing in three households. Not able to remember why he started rapping, he does remember the feeling he got when he first did it. At 13 he didn’t take it seriously until years later, at 16, when he began recording.
Now, being in the studio frequently, he notes that his influences would his family due to constant motivation and enablers for success. His favorite part of rapping however, is the moment when people listen to his music, unaware that it is his talent. The grooving while recording shapes his style and approach to his lyrics, writing whatever comes to mind and allowing for a more universal sound. The message is to “Rap about whatever you want to rap about. If a person feels something needs to be said, then let it be known, regardless of if a person has gone through it or not.”
