From Masks To Martyrs, aka FM2M, was founded June 2011 by its original members. The group started as a collaborative compositional effort by Angel Molina and Nick Druckenmiller back in 2009. Since then they've managed to combine influences from both foreign genres and american rock. Each member contributes different styles of sonic attack to the group's sound. Druckenmiller's guitar leads powerful jrock/visual kei-influenced riffs along with soothing melodic leads and solos. Ruth's bass style rumbles every line with bounce and bottom during heavy breakdowns and intricate passages. Roethlein's drums deliver powerful punches with every double bass kick as he pushes styles through every beat. Lastly, Molina's lyrics haunt and embrace each song's core to its stylistic components while delivering powerful keyboard harmonies. The aural attack, FM2M, brings a new twist to American music with genres from American Metal to Japanese Rock and back to the basics with Classically influenced sections interlaced.
