Peppermint Kisses is the answer and counter to the warm surf of their residence in Bakersfield, CA. Composed of Jenny and Joseph Andreotti (ex Funeral Club) who married only one month into their first tour. Jenny’s omnipresent vocals haunt within the layers of intricate (almost medieval) melodies and arrangements driven by vintage Moog synthesizers. The songs seem innocent upfront, but tell a much deeper tale in true pop fashion of love, loss and that there is always a small light of hope in the darkness.

Often times I miss living in the country where life seems almost too simple. The sleepy towns, sweet air and especially the autumns. Hailing from the british countryside, Worries is truly a product of his environment, perfectly encapsulating the simplicity, nostalgia and isolation. 

When I first heard Worries, they contained everything I had loved about indie pop, or rather a variant of it, which I thought had long been dead. Simply put, the debut single is a few daydreams turned to melody and brought to life.
