This event was quite astonishing, unique and amazing. Held in a cathedral in San Francisco pimped out by St Joseph's Art Foundation, I got to DJ from the pulpit. I ain't Christian but I always admired the architecture, acoustics and grandeur of a church.  

Chicago DJ Justin Reid, Mason Bates and their crew at Mercury Soul invited me to play.

Mason is a Grammy award-winning American composer and the first composer-in-residence of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He has also been in residence with Chicago Symphony Orchestra, the San Francisco Symphony, the Pittsburgh Symphony, and the California Symphony.

Mason scored a live 20 piece brass ensemble to perform a debut of my song After The Storm after which I got to DJ for an hour.  During this time, I took the liberty of diving into symphonic electronic sounds, disco and African vibes.

We crossed the Pacific Ocean to celebrate the one and only DMW. We danced in the rain, chased chickens, and swam with sea turtles, feeling all the vibes in island of Kauai. Never Stop Dancing is a mix series dedicated to all those who find themselves locked in a groove, time and time again. To those who find themselves eyes closed lost in the music. To those who call the dance floor home. To those who say "one more song" more than once. To those who live for the collective joy, community, and boundless self-expression of the dance floor. This mix series is focused on amplifying the sounds of artists and DJs in the Kootenays and British Columbia who play shades of four to the floor: house, disco, and techno.

Never Stop Dancing 11 is an ethereal mix by the elusive purveyor of deep minimal grooves, @Ze_Moon. Ze Moon is a passionate music collector and selector based in the laid-back vibes of Nelson, BC. Hailing from Germany, he was swept into the vibrant currents of the '90s electronic scene. His mixing style weaves together deep house and techno, drawing from a vast collection of timeless tracks. With a keen ear for rhythm and a deep reverence for electronic music’s roots, Ze Moon crafts immersive sets that bridge the raw energy of the underground with the forward-thinking pulse of tomorrow’s sound.

His Never Stop Dancing mix takes dancers on a hypnotic journey driven by deep and driving bass lines and laden with organic melodies. He melds together beautiful sounds of the universe to create a meditative journey that will have you bobbing back and forth. I hope you enjoy "Journey to the Milky Way" by Ze Moon.

UNER is one of the most important names of the new generation of Spanish electronic music producers. His musical training allowed him to develop at a very early age a different dance music concept, based on the pleasure for harmony and the search for a unique, personal sound. This has lead him to edit for labels like Diynamic (where he's an active member and has edited his most celebrated works to date, "Raw Sweat" and "Bassboot"), 2020 Vision, Get Physical, Defected or CR2 to mention a few. UNER has earned the respect of the music industry with talent and work: names like Laurent Garnier, Carl Cox or Luciano play his music on a regular basis; clubs like Berlin's Watergate or Space ibiza book him oftenly and his number of fans increases by the day; all of this because of what he does best, his music.

Apart from traveling around the world as a Dj, in 2011 UNER presented his live gigs, an audiovisual concept in which he uses state-of-the-art software and hardware (from iPads to mini midi keyboards) to explore his most solid, personal side. The artistic expansion of the Catalonian producer will go on during the following months with the creation of several artist albums where he'll express his way of understanding electronic music from a musical point of view and from the center of the dancefloor. UNER's bound to reach higher tops with the only limit of his music... so there's still loads to see, listen and dance.
