Dubversified and Soul Math bring you a new and intimate night of curated soundscapes. In this first installment, Yin/Yang will offer a night long social that explores genre duality and immersive audio/visual experiences.

In Chinese philosophy, yin-yang (/ˈjɪn ˈjɑːŋ/; Chinese: 陰陽 yīnyáng, lit. "dark-bright", "negative-positive") describes how seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary, interconnected, and interdependent in the natural world, and how they may give rise to each other as they interrelate to one another. Many tangible dualities (such as light and dark, fire and water, expanding and contracting) are considered physical manifestations of the duality symbolized by yin and yang.

The artist name originates from the German word, “Funkstille”, which translates into “Radio Silence”. The duo’s love for forward thinking Techno brought them to Europe. Manfred immersed himself in the Dutch techno scene for 6 months, and Jason immersed himself in the Berlin Techno scene for 2 and a half years.

With a fresh sound, and tight productions, their music has been featured in underground clubs around the world. With their exuberant drive, and passion for Techno, it is a sure thing that their tracks are pushing the boundaries of your expectations.

Their inspiration and style is generated through the cold grey winters that overtake Canada for more than 6 months out of the year, and the vastness of the Pacific Ocean that lays at their doorstep.
