Horn Juice High

"Anthesizer I" is a track consisted of audio clips from Anthesizer, an audio-visual exhibition held at CalArts Expo 2022.

Anthesizer is an audiovisual exhibition featuring Harvester Ants, Pogonomyrmex Rugosus. Tiny piezo mics are placed inside of their nest and their foraging area. Those mics are going to pick up the small sounds they make while they are picking up the seeds and carrying them, cracking them open, or hunting down their prey along the way. And then, these random sounds goes into Max and Touch Designer which generate sound design and visual corresponding to their hard working.

Anthesizer I

Inspired by Channel No,5 commercial, "Panic" by Forest Sword, and the Wakanda Battle scene from the movie "Avengers: Infinity War". It's a mixture of different kinds of sounds with my voice on top. They are all United in this one single track. Enjoy.

Unite

These are the sound tracks from two short films: Kings directed by Damani Blair, and Magnum Opus directed by Chris Sinnemann. 
The original tracks were composed while Lee was working on overall post audio for those two pieces. These tracks are re-arranged, mixed and mastered later. 

The name of the album came from the color of those two films. Kings' overall color tone is blue heavy while Magnum Opus's is Orange heavy. First five tracks are from Magnum Opus (Orange) and the last two are from Kings (Blue). The overall acoustics and texture are pretty much cohesive in this album. But there is a slight difference when it comes to emotions of each tracks. The tracks from Magnum Opus has warmer, passionate and emotional thrust while the ones from Kings remain frozen and brutal.

Owl Creek Bridge is an EP consisted of 4 tracks introducing the story of three different characters in Byungkyu's unique way of sound design.

Track 1: Spoiler Alert
Short intro for the other three tracks. It depicts the process of synchronizing listeners with each of those characters.

Track 2: Modern Prometheus
It's a story of Frankenstein who wants to create his own bride, Venus. It has mad scientist vibe in it with watery sounds and textures because the story is taking place in small Bathtub, and actually most of the vocals and sound samples are recorded in a small studio apartment bathroom in Los Angeles.

Track 3: Matriarch
This track is inspired by the Queen of Blade, the most attractive main character in StarCraft cinematics. This song is all about her strong charisma and the swarm of Zerglings overwhelming everything.

Track 4: Sese
Sese is one of the main characters in Korean Webtoon "Helper". It is a ghost of an embryo who has died inside of its mom who committed suicide during her pregnancy. She has six red eyes all over her body, each has the meaning of great grief and sadness. This song is dedicated to all the children who has been abandoned.
