Naargeestig intro (daar hou ik dan wel weer van), het tweede stuk is wat is ook behoorlijk somber. 

dark and beautiful! great work (especially the second part)! 

Well this part is is certainly a great change from the first one which was well intriguing with fine use of sounds. But here we got lie a delayed train effect of it rolling down the track the the bell dinging away with it very nicely., and in some ways it also sounds like a grandfather clock too. chiming away.

Very tasty journey FN chap and was well impressed especially with the 2nd part. it was like turning a Grand father Clock into a train, and you did a grand job of it too my friend. Excellent work and very well enjoyed the 2 journeys here chap.

Well this started off as screwing around with operator in live looking for a good bass, then I was thinking about woody woodpecker and came up with this glitchy bass line. While visiting with some relatives the subject of religion came up, some heavy revelations show on history channel, and thankfully it was at my in-laws and not my family or all hell could have broke loose, but anyway after the small discussion, my wife says her brother pities me and I pity him, and it's mutual pity, which is pretty much a relationship it seems that I have in a way with many people in my family, and not a concept I had never considered, so I said I should make a song, and when I got home the quirkiness of this music just seemed perfect to make this track into this sort of clever, definitely cheesy and possibly thought-provoking satirical "joke" that I think it turned out to be.  Even the music is kind of funny to me - but badass at the same time >: l   

I had in mind going minimal on the drums at first, but that didn't last long. The main drum track is mostly just one short loop with some glitches. But then I threw in some some percussion created from chopping up the vocal track, oh well.  And thanks to my wife Andrea for her voice contribution at the end of the track so I didn't have to do both voices myself.

pretty cool - even though that isn't really a whole lot in the greater scheme of things, it's still hard to fathom!  My sincere thanks goes out to all who listen :)

Het is grijs en het zit in je hoofd.
Het is een raadsel, zoveel is bekend,
en het komt voor bij vijftienhonderd mensen.
Geen nationale trend, al komt het vaker voor
bij volk van Nijkerk, Elburg, Harderwijk 
(‘Die fokveluwe trouwt z’n eigen bloed!’) 
en wonderlijk genoeg, zo wil een onderzoek,
vaker in Amsterdam en Rotterdam,
Katwijk, Den Haag, en maar al te graag
in de Friese Zuidwesthoek.

Diagonaal het land doorkruisend, ben ik verhuisd 
naar waar ik vandaan kom: de verschuilhoek,
waar taal niets opheeft met mysteries,
raadsels laag in aanzien staan 
en van jongs af aan de wereld dichtgeplakt zat
met oude Kollumers: Nieuwsblad Noordoost-
Friesland – maar zodra je even je hielen licht, 
een krant net zo open en kleurig als wat.

Ik wist waar het heenging en wie ik daar vond: 
De Schim – ik kende hem – 
die eerder in het geniep zijn crue verschijning 
al aangekondigd had, 
              hier nu, beleefd 
als een scharensliep die bleef, voor de deur stond,
zichzelf verwelkomde en afficheerde als heer.

Meneer volgens afspraak en zonder verwensing
ontvangen. Hem op de drempel
een fluim voor de voeten gemikt – 
maar ik spuugde hem niet in het gezicht.

Het is grijs en het zit in je hoofd, het is een raadsel,

op de tienduizend – mijn bescheiden
