Local Suicide are back with the second of four remix EPs for their debut album, 'Eros Anikate', each named after an ancient Greek god. 
The Greco-German DJ and Producer couple, known for their wild fusion of new wave, acid, slow techno, EBM, and dark disco, have been driving live audiences into a frenzy across the globe with captivating performances and live sets. Their propulsive grooves have earned them the title of key figures in the up-rising dark disco scene, as well as overwhelming support from the music press worldwide for their 13 EP releases to date. Their debut LP, 'Eros Anikate', is the next step on their journey to a worldwide cobra wave and techno-disco takeover and includes selected vocal features and collaborations from Lena Platonos, Curses, Theus Mago, Kalipo, Sissi Rada and more. The album release was a success globally and received immense support from the likes of Mixmag, Spiegel, Tsugi, Faze, Inverted Audio, Sonic Seducer, Starwax, Side Line, Ransom Note, Groove, The Sun, Kaput Mag, Electronic Groove, Deutschlandradio Kultur, Lifo, Spotify and Apple Music.
'Eros Anikate - Artemis Remixes' is a 6-track EP featuring a remix for 'Moustache w/ Skelesys', 'Jam Bounce Release w/ Theus Mago', two remixes for 'Like Follow Subscribe feat. Hard Ton', one for 'Cobra Wave w/Kalipo' and one for 'Eros Anikate feat. Lena Platonos'. The EP will be released on digital and vinyl via their Iptamenos Discos imprint on October 21st, 2022.

We would like to start today’s premiere congratulating our friends of the solid Mexican label Bonkers for their anniversary. Great job, lads! As usual, the occasion will be celebrated with some mezcal shots and a compilation: “Year IV” brings together a rich tapestry of sonorities provided with love by acclaimed and rising names of the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene: Sobek, Colossio (SXDNS025) Feat. Animales Nocturnos, Ludviq & Radial Gaze, Moisees & ZEA, ID_UA (SXDNS229), and Oblako Maranta spared no efforts to deliver powerful and well-constructed cuts, successfully raising the bar of the jubilant release.

Premiered here, ID_UA’s contribution is a must-have! Kyiv-based Igor Dyeyev, even facing the atrocities of a war in his country, allows himself to escape to a safe haven that is his creative mind when producing in order to keep fighting the good fight: Bringing to life his own interpretation of high-quality dance-floor-oriented music. And he fails to disappoint! In “Crucial Moment”, the throbbing bassline, arpeggiated synth layers, ominous lead, and acid gait he came up with set the mood of one of the highlights of the VA.

Fog hung thick and heavy in the air, covering the trees and the roofs of the houses along the street. It brought a palpable sense of mystery to the place, as though something strange and unsettling could happen at any moment. Odd occurrences had happened here before; unexplainable situations and curious disappearances that had previously been cast off as nothing by those who weren't superstitious. Many still believed this street to be under a certain spell though, and they weren't willing to stick around for something to happen...

Stuttgart-based producer Zamal's debut EP takes Freeride Millenium - the imprint run by Vienna-based DJ and producer Jorkes - down a new sonic path. Following a series of self-released tracks and two contributions to the label's Queer Base and Impact compilations, he delivers Vague, which moves the label into the realms of techno, with its tough grooves and galloping drum workouts. It comes backed by remixes from Raphael Schön and RIOTVAN owner Peter Invasion with regular collaborator Gregor Habicht, who veer the originals into classic cosmic Freeride Millenium territory.

Berlin's Tallac brings deep house and emotive synth craft to his music on the likes of Oh! Records, with a new release on Ritmo Fatale in the pipeline. He opens here with 'Dreaming in Dial Up', a synth-laden, mid-tempo cut with cosmic melodies and 80s-tinged grooves.

The Vinyl Depreciation Society is Nick Willcocks and Ben Wijay, originally from Devon, England. 

Their production style straddles deep house, indie dance, nu-disco and melodic techno, with consistent undertones of psychedelia and wonk.

After a deep and very inspiring while, Belly Dance Services enchant the dance floors with the EP "Shatter" by Andreja Salpe from Skopje and Ludviq, who currently lives in Vancouver.

The two have been working quite a while together, sending each other all kinds of body and mind moving music over the big ocean. Belly Dance Services and label head Nick Hanzo are ecstatic to present the more indy dance vibes of the fabolous duo.

The trans global collaboration is completed with a dark evolving remix banger by Ravintsara from Biarritz for "Shatter", and a heavy pleasure rework from Teniente Castillo de Madrid for "Break The Line" – all in all a complete package for dark indy dancy vibe lovers.

The Tegels Boys ascend to cruising altitude with this four-track release featuring two original discotheque thrillers paired with top-flight remixes from Uj Pa Gaz and Franz Matthews. Fresh Acid Boogie from the cockpit!

Half Electric ft. Marvin Jam [Original] is a chunky, stomping, elastic, acid-disco, peak time slow burner, a hefty slab of relentless boogie built around a mysterious and unforgettable classic-rock guitar figure, whiplash cowbells, and a hungry 303 line snaking its way into the mix, a track aimed directly at the hips. Just as this throb is frothing over, things kick into a streamlined, disco pulse, the saxophone honk joins, and vocalist Marvin Jam intones a scorching soul-blues lament, a glorious build off into the horizon. On remix duties is Tirana, Albania-based Uj Pa Gaz, a talented live-electronic musician in his own right with releases on Tici-Taci, Heimlich, Esthetique and more, who goes right for the melodic core of the track, dropping a Chemical Brothers friendly big broken beat over a perfect marriage of blissed-out synth figures and sunrise arpeggio-pulse, a steady chug bringing the sexy sax back in play. A monstrous build brings Marvin’s vocals back and it's an all-out timeless body-ecstacy bounce.

Love ‘Em & Lear ‘Em [Original] A sultry strut out of the gates, Love ‘Em & Lear ‘Em demonstrates the Tegel Boys effortless sample-happy disco instincts, delivering a steady percussive-driver of a track, with inescapable groove. Head-bopping, shuffle percussion, and bass throb are expertly laid down with teasing robo-girl vocals flying in and around the mix, eventually building to muscular downtown-NYC-post-punk breakdown, making this a proper weapon in the right DJ-hands. The Franz Matthews remix is a decidedly shinier, crisper, laser-precision take on the track, featuring a souped-up hypnotic bassline, four on the floor drum mechanics, and a hefty dose of wild-safari escapades added to the core movement. Funky 80s synth-stabs and Red Axes kraut guitar jump on the train and take it to new heights.

Joel, Jeremy, Alican, and Antonio are pilots. The four Tegel Boys. The flight is fancy and it’s a foolhardy insistence that a parallel world still exists. First-class dreams, tacky and louche, vinyl seats, sticky cocktails, giddy highs, and lusty stomp. Polymath rock ‘n’ roll electronics that work a little less obviously, but feel a whole lot better.

One of the safest havens on earth for high-quality Retro & Synthwave themes, Astrolead Recordings can’t get enough of publishing ace content. This time, Ilya Santana’s (SXDNS072) imprint welcomes to its interstellar roster Sam Britt. Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, the man of the hour adopted an alias that precisely captures the very core of his sonority: Sam In Space. With an avid ear to absorb and reinterpret the wealthy cosmic-infused sonority of the 1970s and 1980s, his sets and productions aim at delivering zero-gravity experiences to their audiences.

After a couple of creative edits released on XPRESS and Feinstoff, Sam’s first original came out last year on Boots & Legs’ compilation “Family Secrets”. These previous snippets of his work triggered some sort of expectation among the followers of his endeavours who were eager to know how his first EP would sound like – and it failed to disappoint: “Infinity” comes with three well-constructed originals which properly showcase the talents of the rising producer.

Premiered here, the title track comes dressed to impress: “Infinity” is a fat and groovy Disco-pounded cut with a buoyant gait and a space-inspired atmosphere triggered by hearty synth layers and powerful guitar riffs.
