Gost Zvuk presents the first vinyl release from the hidden gem of the Moscow electronic scene – Dmitry Drozdov. Under the shadowy alias of @dx2ov, on Interzona he plays with an array of fairground-like melodies, lo-fi house motifs, buoyant space-age optimism, and old-school UK breaks. Along with the strong emphasis on melody, at the forefront of his style is a keen ear for off-kilter, scattered percussion, with 'Voices' shining as a curious example of polyrhythmic, synthetic metallophone meshing with gritty Roland rhythm box styles. The album glides between these sharper moments and experiments with gloopy, submerged aesthetics and Madlib-like phone call snippets ('OK') as well as minimalist, Detroit-inspired funk on the microhouse-esque 'Loop' - another highlight with its perfectly placed and skewed vocal lead.

'Eliseus' runs close to 130bpm with a tight drum pattern reminiscent of the excellent 'Gesicht Aus Diamant' by 100Records, a minimal gem from 2005. Dima's track channels similar ecstatic synth propulsion, with what sounds like a warped choral disintegration washing in and out of the stereo field. More trippy vocal distortions all around! The influences run wide and deep across Interzona, from beat tape hip-hop to US house/techno and library music. The ambient closing cuts also tread a similar path at points to label mate Flaty's AEM Rhythm Cascade & Dices collaboration.

At present VRDNPRVCHK is an electronic musician from Kazan, a resident of WELOFI and the founder of the promo group ЛИТЬЕ. He experiments with styles, creating a deep and unique sound.

Maksim Dark returns to his spiritual home of Senso Sounds - Oliver Huntemann's much touted imprint for his tougher, technoid leanings. Maksim, born in Serov, Russia, has created an indelible impression over the course of his young career, and 'Movement' is clearly the next step on his road to very great things. 'Attack Disco' is true to form - a lean, mean and tough to the bone piece of techno with a driving, powerful edge. Growling, snarling synths sound like shards of metal ripping through the groove producing an intense vibe. 'Coordinate' is a notch more reserved, but builds a killer, hypnotic groove through stripped back elements, before Maksims off-kilter sound design provides the trippy topping. The title track 'Movement' fits its name - the track bursts with energy and atmosphere, propelled by a thick, tactile rhythm and pitched down, demonic vocal by the man himself.

It gives us great pleasure to see when talent and geniality come together.Deniz Bul, beloved FCKNG SERIOUS family member and longtime friend who constantly proves to be a guarantor for great music and exceptional good mood returns with his new "Free Your Mind" EP which is a beauty yet again.

Joining forces with Markus Volker obviously spawned quite a dancefloor stomper. This being said, "Free Your Mind" - a popular recommendation that most of the time turns out to be easier said than done - actually seems possible. All you need to do is to expose yourself to the track and... Bang!... realize how immediately it redirects your blood stream
from your brain to your legs. Yap, it can be that easy. 
Who said healing is just for doctors?

"With You" is a musical time journey that arouses a reminiscence of the good old acid days. However instead of overusing the distinctive sound Deniz manages to keep it smoothly and thus creates a very deep and thoughtful atmosphere.

"With You" seems like a timeless beauty already.
We're glad having Deniz back on the label and look forward to seeing your happy faces when we'll finally be sharing the EP with you around the globe.
