The following series was founded to acknowledge producers for their influence on shaping the sound in the electronic music genre while simultaneously showcasing the distinctive musical style of each artist, featuring both released and unreleased music in an all-original podcast format.

K92 aims to reintroduce a sense of mystery surrounding artists by bringing back the focus on the music itself and creating a blank slate for listeners to develop their own interpretations. As a result, the sets on this platform do not include any press photographs or biographies. Instead, each set has been personally signed by the artist to complete their signature sound.

Als erste Podcast-Ausgabe präsentieren wir euch das DJ-Duo SIX DIMENSIONS, das 2019 die Veranstaltungsreihe 6D. in Hamburg gegründet hat. Ihre Mission ist einfach: ein echtes Underground-Erlebnis zu bieten, das sowohl lokale als auch internationale Talente in einer inklusiven Umgebung präsentiert. Der Fokus liegt dabei darauf, hochwertige Musik zu liefern, ohne Ablenkungen durch Hype oder kommerzielle Agenden.
SIX DIMENSIONS Sound ist inspiriert aus zeitlosem Techno, der auf moderne Weise ausgedrückt wird und von unzähligen gemeinsamen Erfahrungen die in den letzten 15 Jahren auf verschiedensten Dancefloors gesammelt worden sind. Ihre Hingabe und ihre Skills haben ihnen eine Residency im bekannten PAL in Hamburg eingebracht.

Was ist eure liebste gemeinsame Dancefloor-Erfahrung?

Dimi: Pollerwiesen Minus Open Air 2013 in Leverkusen - Richie Hawtins Closing am Ende des Tages als die Sonne unter ging und diese alienartige Musik aus den Speakern kam. Der Vibe auf dem Dancefloor, unbezahlbar!
Enes: Auf einem Open Air in Hannover 2012, als Richie Hawtin gespielt hat und seine Effekte hat reinspielen lassen, er war so gut! Dimi und ich konnten nicht glauben, was er da macht.

Welche Musik abseits von Techno inspiriert euch?

Enes: Ambient, Micro House, OG Trance von früher, aber auch Oldschool Rap aus den 90ern
Dimi: Hip Hop (90er), Jazz, Blues

What is your favorite shared dancefloor experience?

Dimi: Pollerwiesen Minus Open Air 2013 in Leverkusen - Richie Hawtin's closing at the end of the day when the sun went down and this alien-like music came out of the speakers. The vibe on the dancefloor, priceless!
Enes: At an Open Air in Hanover in 2012 when Richie Hawtin played and had his effects played in, he was so good! Dimi and I couldn't believe what he was doing.

What music apart from techno inspires you?

Enes: Ambient, micro house, OG trance from the past, but also old school rap from the 90s
Dimi: Hip hop (90s), jazz, blues

6D. Podcast 001 - SIX DIMENSIONS

We're thrilled to present a mix from Connor Wall, a member of the Bomphcast family.

Connor stands out in the crowded field of new artists not just for his skills, but for his attitude and dedication for techno. He's already making waves in Melbourne's techno scene, playing alongside respected acts like Freddy K and Norman Nodge. 

His tracks, released on labels like Float Records and Bomphcast Audio, are heavy and powerful, reflecting his unique style and interpretation of techno. 

His latest EP 'Human Obsolete' is out now on Float Records. Do yourself the favour of listening to the EP, it's a masterpiece. 

Wall's dedication to his sound has helped him grow quickly since he started out a few years ago, and it's clear he's someone to keep an eye on in the Australian music scene. Whether he's DJing or producing, Wall is building.

Exploring the vinyl labyrinthes of Europe, the French DJ and producer Benabou, has found herself inducted into the eclectic effervescence of the techno world. Drawing influence from major labels such as Token, Polegroup,
Eaux, Semantica, Hypnus Records and Northern Electronics, her music productions are enriched with experimental resonances. 
From a young age, her curious expeditions have led her to accumulate strong inclinations for the fluid and vaporous resonances of jazz, soul and psychedelic music. This results in a natural tendency to adorn her tracks with
ambient and ethereal synths that immerses us into a dark and hypnotic dimension.

Benabou has released her musical creations on labels such as Gynoid Audio,
Substantiv, Take, Hit, Cosmic, Wave, Construct, Reform, D.KO Records, Warok and S.Lab.

Since her debut, Benabou has had the privilege of playing in renowned clubs
in France and Germany, including Rex Club, Concrete about blank and Trésor.

@ja-cklyn, talented Techno DJ/Producer hailing from Newcastle, has been making waves in the music scene with her self-released techno productions that have caught the attention of industry heavyweights such as Laurent Garnier, François X ect.. With appearance’s at Tresor Berlin, De School Amsterdam, RSO Berlin and many more, Jacklyn is definitely one to watch.

This week's mix is provided by Menal Batti, formerly known as Ehrenschwesta. She invites us to immerse ourselves in her transformative and multifaceted soundscape: testament to her Swedish origins, now flourishing in the vibrant techno scene of Vienna, once an integral member of the Wiener Gerüstbau collective, and currently a resident at filtr in Brno. Her music is more than just entertainment; it's a raw, pulsating expression of self.

Batti weaves her Kurdish heritage into her musical narrative, drawing inspiration from her father's saz, a traditional instrument that symoolizes her cultural roots. With a profound passion for 90s techno music, she embarked on a musical expedition, cultivating a unique style that elegantly marries disparate elements of the genre into a harmonious entity.

ANTIDOTE PODCAST 091: MENAL BATTI

Fast. Impulsive. Techno. Three words to establish and define what the artist known as Egotot is all about. The young musician, hailing from the deep south of Germany, sets quite the pace when it comes to his vision of electronic music, regarding both tempo as well as quality. His beats, be in the studio or in the DJ booth, appear to come and arrange themselves seemingly with no effort. A Rave-infected sonic testing ground without ever feeling like a simple Rave pastiche. A vision of Techno that is obviously inspired by its sound of the 90s, but neither exceedingly aggressive, nor excessively happy.
Egotot has a special taste for rugged, up-tempo grooves which demand their own time to breathe and reveal their power. A sonic all-purpose weapon to be used on, for, and by the dance floor. However, his sense for music doesn’t stop at the edge of dancefloor-oriented Rave. It goes far beyond, right to and through the sometimes more and sometimes less subtle tides of electronic music.
This exemplarily reflects in his very own imprint, Schimmer Records, which he founded in 2019. The label has, in a rather short period of time, already evolved to a sonic reservoir of all different shades, all of which share a commonality – quality in production, love to detail, and an undeniable appeal to avid devotees of electronic music of all kinds. 
There is nothing confusing about Egotot’s take on music. It is clean-cut, it is straightforward, it is always effective. The Industrial clout, the fast groove, the merciless rigor – this is how Techno should sound in the 21st century, and Egotot is its perfect avatar.
