You gotta get dirty, you gotta get your feelings hurt, you gotta get disappointed, you gotta get told no, but in order to get the life of convenience, you gotta have a very uncomfortable life. You got to get comfortable being uncomfortable. And you're always gonna have haters, and haters are like, "Well, damn man, how much sh*t are you gonna do? Like you do a lot of sh*t." I say yes. It's my ambition. Of course. You gotta work everyday Doesn't end. And when sh*t goes bad and it goes sideways, or you coming through this injury, or people are writing you off, it should drive you. If you gonna get it, you gonna have to have that dog. You got an opportunity, so here's the deal, when you have an opportunity, why would you give 80%, 70%? Why wouldn't you always give 120%? From today on, you play whatever your best game is, you play that level every single time. Every time you practice you don't care what the circumstance is, what the situation is, every single time, you giving 120%. It doesn't mean you're gonna score every time, but you can always give 120% effort.

And we generate and we stir within our gut these acids and these fears that literally trick our mind into thinking we can't change. The reason people get stuck sometimes is they're unwilling to push their fears through their discomforts. And the reason is because they got disappointed, they got hurt, there's emotional stuck there. And all you can do is you just gotta go, I gotta push into those things. Okay I'm scared of it, but I'm gonna lean into it, I'm gonna push into it, I'm just gonna keep going until I break through. Don't avoid the fear, don't avoid the anxiety, don't avoid the trouble, they're always gonna be there. They're not gonna go away. They're always gonna be there, the question is are they in control? The question is are they at the wheel or are you at the wheel? Are they captaining your ship or you're the captain? Are you playing victim or are you playing victor into those things? That's the question. Apply that. Push again. Find something you're excited to push against. If you're stuck because of your fears, you need to give yourself permission to push into it and to say, I'm gonna get in the ring again. I don't know how it's gonna go, I'm probably gonna get punched around a little bit by life, cause I been on my ass for a little while, but I'm gonna get in there, I'm gonna learn to take the swings, I'm gonna learn how to fight, I'm gonna get back into this thing, and I'll stay in it, I'll get over it. You need to push. The mind is more powerful if you learn to direct it. If you don't direct it, if you don't shape it, if you don't condition it, it'll mess with you. It's a discipline to say, I don't negotiate with myself. I don't negotiate with my fear. You don't have to feel good to do this sh*t. I don't give a sh*t how you feel, I don't give a sh*t how I feel, I don't feel like doing a lot of things, but I always do it cause I trained my nervous system to do that. And if you would just develop that discipline, it will free you of so much, it'll help you achieve more than the people around you because most people they want to feel a certain way before they do it. Screw that. Stop the habit of thinking you have to feel good, do it anyway. Train yourself, don't negotiate with yourself. The only way through fear is massive action. It's our job to say, I wanna stand out. It's our job to say, I wanna follow my own bliss. I wanna achieve that next level for myself and for my family. And so push. Set up the habits, do the tasks, set the schedule, get the deadline, have a vision for yourself, get out of your own way, handle what's in from of you, and as you do that you'll start to see that you will accelerate. Your success will come faster, and as it does, it'll be less likely that you're gonna get stuck again. Get on a roll. It's your time.

We all have two people, we have the easy voice, which is that very comfortable voice, holding you, saying it's gonna be okay. Doesn't care how good you are, just loves you. Just loves you no matter how messed up you are in life. That's that voice that we all love. This other voice that we walk very far away from, is the voice saying, hey man, you're not working your butt off hard enough. You're not trying hard enough. Turn up this voice over here. The voice saying things to you that aren't nice. I'm saying listen to the truth. The truth is in this other part of your brain saying, look man, you're wasting a bunch of percentage here. We have 80 more percent that we're not tapping into because in this other 80 percent is suffering, pain, failure, self-doubt, darkness. And then a whole bunch of light. But to get to this light, You gotta go through all of this sh*t. So everybody go's, "How do you do that?" You know exactly how to do that. It's not a magic trick. It's all back down to a very primitive mindset, of we just have to do. When that alarm clock goes off at 4 or 5 in the morning, your mind says no. You just say, it's just what we do. It's what we do now. And that's your new norm. You will not find toughness in a comfortable environment. The only way you find it is to drown yourself in a position where you're just out of sorts. When you can't swim and you're drowning. You're drowning in life. But you say, you know what man? F*ck that. I'm gonna figure out how to f*cking backstroke or something. When you quit your mind says we're done. So it doesn't expand. There's no expansion when you quit. When you say f*ck you, this sucks, I'm drowning, I'm miserable, I'm suffering, I'm broken, but I'm not going anywhere. What happens to your mind it says f*ck. He's not leaving. So we gotta expand, we gotta grow. We gotta figure this f*cking thing out. So then, these compartments in your brain, they have to work. And then you start to engage parts of your mind that you never engaged before, when you're in suffer mode and you say I'm not gonna quit. And then once you do this over and over and over again, it becomes like breathing. I don't want to live this lifestyle, but to get to the other side of this, I have to.

I really don't wanna hammer on a project? I hammer on the project. Don't really wanna get up and get out of bed? I get up and get out of bed. Don't give in to the immediate gratification that is whispering in your ear. The desire to take the downhill path, the easy path. Shut that down. Do not listen to that little voice. Instead, go through the motions. Lift the weights, sprint the hill, work on the project, get out of bed. You've gotta execute. You've gotta get stuff done. Less talk, more do. Less discussion, more execution. Less complacency, more creativity. Less busyness, more production. Less ego, more results. And by simply going through the motions, you stayed on the righteous path, the discipline path, which is right where you know that you belong.

If you practice executing long enough, you're gonna be world class at execution. But if you practice talking and not doing, you're gonna be Fedder level, Messi level, Picasso level, Kanye level, Shakespeare level at talking versus doing. Where you're winning in your life reflects what you've been practicing. A lot of us are full of sh*t. We think that were working our asses off, working hard, you know, we been working out hard in the gym for a month, but we haven't seen any results. You study for 30 minutes for a f*cking test, and you ain't do as well as you thought. What the f*ck do you expect? You have to do more. You gotta stop telling yourself that you're doing enough. In life it's never enough until you feel this overwhelming feeling of sh*t man, I'm outworking the crowd. I'm outworking everybody. I'm doing more. Once you get there, that's when you f*cking know you've done enough. Don't talk about it, be about it. Practice what you preach. Stay hard.
