Hamburg’s much loved all-night-dance-party duo Moonbootica are back to kick off 2011 with Tonight a driving slice of prime discofied house music on Cheap Thrills.

Like much of the best house music, Tonight at first seems effortlessly simple, just a looped disco refrain that continues to build as the song progresses, a short vocal sample and a driving 4/4 beat. In the hands of producers like Moonbootica though, the sum of those parts becomes so much more.









Effortlessly straddling genres Tonight has been road-tested to perfection in DJ sets by the duo and guaranteed to light a fire under any dancefloor whether an underground basement or the main rooms of the world’s biggest clubs.

Quick to snap up the release for his own label Cheap Thrills boss Hervé also supplies one of his trademark Voodoo Chilli remixes for the B-side. Jacking up the pressure Hervé adds a harder metallic edge to the original, maximizing its already hefty impact.

With early support from  Paul Oakenfold, A-Trak, Chris Lake, Digitalism  and  many others, Moonbootica’s Tonight already stands out as one of 2011’s first real house anthems.
