When will I know if I'll be, a diamond or just a brick, the answer lies in the sea
My ship has room just for one, I take a map and I'm gone, toward the island of sound
And near the island I see, a giant graveyard of ships, the island's covered with cliffs 
And at the edge of the peaks they all stand plucking their strings, and there's a glint from their teeth  
 
We're like diamonds, we shine the brightest. 

If all these ships crashed and drowned, their captains cannot be found, what are the odds to succeed? 
It seems to get to the peak, you must have some kind of gift, cause there is no way to climb
But then I found a small beach, the ships around it are big, no one comes here all alone  
Their footprints leading towards a long and treacherous road, it's not so steep but it's long
 
We're like diamonds, we shine the brightest.

Ending a long term relationship, starting a new one, signing a relocation contract, Covid-19, canceling my relocation contract, Lockdowns, quitting my job due to illness, Lockdowns again,  undergoing surgery, learning to play music, getting a new job, quitting because of illness again and so on… 

After the past few years me and so many others had, I think it is clear why I wrote a song titled: “Why we can’t have nice things”

In 2020 and after a few years working for a company selling DNA I created the project FoE with the goal of producing Dramatic Synthpop / Electronic pop, influenced by 80's and modern Synthpop (Depeche Mode, Visage, MGMT, Empathy test and more).

Changing professions from tech to art at 30 while dealing with an active Crohn's disease are the current catalysts for my music where I focus on self esteem, living up to your potential and the fact that great things require sacrifice (no pain, no gain).

I hope my music makes you feel the things you wish your day to day life would make you feel. At least that what I hope for me.
