We are delighted to present what we feel to be another outstanding addition to our catalog. Dieb Audio honcho and studio rat John Dalagelis has teamed up and joined creative forces with Fog & Kindimmer. Fog has had regular releases the past few years on labels such as Plastic City, Metroline Limited, Brise Records and Apparel Music. Berlin based Kindimmer has been getting a lot of attention lately with his productions and his dj sets around Europe. The result of these three getting together is an intricate, intelligent, cutting edge "Ruff Elements EP" including 4 top quality tracks.

Starting with "Dance Around", we come across a deep yet very powerful tech house track which is dominated by a groovy drum arrangement, swinging shakers, carefully placed percussive elements, chord stabs and pads which give to the track a unique atmosphere.

On "Dusty" we find the producers exploring a more raw percussive jackin house territory, using shakers, various interesting timbres and textures to create a hypnotic yet groovy vibe. Blending this vibe with some nifty chordal stabs and the a side of the EP completes perfectly.

On the flip side "Soulchords" takes its turn. A solid rhythm arrangement with some effective drum patterns and a driving bass line but the highlight comes in the form of a moving chord that rips through the core of the track. Solid, precise and guaranteed to work great on a variety of dance floors.

Completing the package with style and panache, we have "Soulstrings". A melodic deep house track which is focusing on the analog bass line, the melodic chords, the chunky drum rhythm, the moody pads and the vocal samples that give the track a nice old school house music feeling.

Whatever your preference, "Ruff Elements Ep" is sure to satisfy even the most discerning ear or demanding crowd. Enjoy!

Greek producer Fog returns to Seven Music after an outing on the label in October 2012. His previous release for Seven Music was extremely well received, picking up plaudits from Crazy P, Rob Mello, OOFT!, Dualton, DJ Harri, Shir Khan, Hot Toddy and many more! Since that time, Fog has continued popping up on esteemed labels such as Metroline Limited, Dieb Audio and Frole Records.


The 'Knob Junktion EP' kicks of with the title cut. Deep & atmospheric, but with plenty of bottom end. Groovy pads and funky stabs weave effortlessly around chopped up vocals to create yet another storming Fog production!


Label bosses Sean Grieve & Ric McClelland turn in a remix of the title track under their South West Seven moniker. Having previously released original material on stalwart labels including On The Prowl, Kolour Ltd, Sccucci Manucci, Solar Disco and Carry On, the Belfast lads turn in a sterling 'Deep House' reworking of Knob Junktion. The track pays homage to the old DiY sound of the mid 90's. Crisp drums, organ stabs, square bass, cut up vocals and atmospheric string elements all fuse to create a track that wouldn't sound out of place in an old Simon DK set!


What To Do' rounds of the EP. A few shades deeper than the title track, but still retaining plenty of subby pump. Another slice of deep rolling goodness by Fog, that will make it's way into a wide range of DJ's sets!

Seven Music continue their roll of Autumn releases and welcome Greek DJ & Production duo Fog & Arara to the family.

Their partnership began over 10 years ago, when they meet as fellow DJ's on the Athens club circuit. Then in 2009 the guys turned their attention to producing their own music. Since then they haven't looked back. Many will know the pair well from their output on many of the top Deep and Tech House labels around at the moment such as Metroline Limited, Neurotraxx, Back & Forth, Brise and Kina.

The key to their success is the diverse spectrum of inspirations they both bring to the table. Fog has always been a House head, collecting records from an early age, where as Arara grew up on a diet of Metal, Hip-Hop and Electronica. When it comes to the studio, Fog is the rhythm section and Arara is the melody man. 
As both guys are based in different countries now (Fog - Athens, Greece. Arara - Berlin, Germany), their studio sessions are often 'online'. Bouncing ideas back and forth on email and instant message. But hey, it's 2012 and technology has its advantages ;)

For their Seven Music debut, Fog & Arara have created something very special. They have dropped their bpm's a lot lower than normal and carved out 3 inspiring deep, atmospheric, tech house soundscapes. The kind of music that's equally as alluring on headphones or a big club system!

Hailing from the islands of Greece, this duo brings us heavy beats and grooves for those late night vibes. The title track opens the movement with a brazilian guitar alongside pulsating drums and natives tongues.
Cabiello jumps right into the party with an afro house rhythm accompanied by Yoruba signature chants and mallets. Owere is a journey into the abyss of the mind and soul, while Alafia’s trance make you submit to the freedom of the moment. Originating from the island of Corfu in Greece Achilleas Dimitracopoulos aka Fog has been a dj since the late 90s. Influenced by house, techno and all sounds in between it was only natural that he would eventually get involved with the art of production, resulting to an impressive active discography of electronic music since 2005.
We have been fans of Fog's music for a long time over at Metroline Limited and we are very happy to finally put out a follow up to his first Ep for the label, Diggler's Romance from 2011.
The Ep opening track is the lush deep number called Unbalanced. This dubby deep house work is music to get lost to, with its big reverberated whooshes, cavernous sub bass and tripped-out atmospheres.
Depth 1 is one of the peak time choices out of the five-track package by Fog. This is pure driving tech-house at the very best best with plenty of groove.
Depth 2 is a trip into French filtered house territory while Atlas Zero One is our peak time weapon number 2. Wicked drum programming plus stabs and layered synth action to produce a serious dancefloor burner.
Balance takes us back to the land of deepness but with the addition of a huge deal of groove and infectious pulsating bass.

Originating from the island of Corfu in Greece and based in Athens, Achilleas 
Dimitracopoulos aka Fog has been a dj since the late 90s. Influenced by house, techno and all sounds in between it was only natural that he would eventually get involved with the art of production, resulting to an impressive active discography of electronic music since 2005. He has had collaborations with an exciting and diverse number of labels such as Noir Music, Dieb Audio, Metroline Limited, Brise Records, Time Has Changed, Escapism Musique, Apparel Music, Deso Records, Save Room, Plusminus, Autoreply, Akbal Music, Kolour Music, Neovinyl, Back & Forth, Seven Music and many more.

Besides his solo releases as “Fog”, he has also released music along with Berlin based partner “Nick Arara”, under the moniker “Fog & Arara”. Many more studio collaborations and releases took place along with other artists as well such as Echonomist, John Dalagelis, Kindimmer and Sasch BBC. His remix duties have also been extensive over the years for artists and labels such as Patrick Zigon, Kruse & Nuernberg, Claire Ripley & Zeitgeist, Atapy, Chubby Dubz and many more. He has also had a great amount of releases, including two artist albums, under his first moniker “Elastic” during the golden era of progressive house/trance in the past decade.

Fog’s releases have been featured in numerous v/a compilations, worth mentioning among many more is “Terry's Cafe” on Plastic City, mixed by “Terry Lee Brown Jr”. Gaining massive support over the past few years, most of his original and remix production work can often be found in the record boxes of dj's such as Steve Bug, Marco Carola, Ritchie Hawtin, Nic Fanciulli, Joris Voorn, Luciano, Matthias Tanzman, DJ Sneak, Maya Jane Cole, Terry Francis, Slam, Brothers Vibe, Ben Sims and many more.

Delivering a large bulk of tricks and treats on his productions as well as behind the decks when called for dj duties around the globe, Fog has fairly earned his position between the most respectful house music producers and djs over the music industry.
