On www.twitch.tv/rankpop , rank, the Swedish host, talks music production and is very collaborative with viewers. To take a break from over 2 weeks of a mega collaboration, where dozens of twitch viewers send in audio to a growing and changing composition, we had a 1 hour production challenge where rank would assign the participants a random venue as visual inspiration for a short composition. This ranged from the Kilden Performing Arts Centre to psychedelic cruise ships to a fishing boat on a river.

I tried to capture the directionality of this rather normal looking performance hall. The 'pan' and 'depth' controls on Ableton's Convolution Reverb do a pretty good job of adding a sense of 3 dimensions to the sound!
