Rather than troubling yourself over a little bit of illogic, though, I suggest simply hitting play and vibing out to the set’s latest single, Bad Blood. Skammadix mans the boards on this boom-bap banger, layering a dusty sample over a head-noddble breakbeat as the Deep Concepts signee flaunts his mic skills and coolly dispatches the competition. Return of the Duo Dynamic...

New York underground veterans Q Ball & Curt Cazal (QNC) make a long overdue return with their new 7" single "At The Same Time" b/w "Demo". In recent years QNC have been highly sought after by producers from across the globe, resulting in transatlantic collaborations which have helped to secure a strong international fanbase.

"At The Same Time" was designed specifically to feature the always energetic M.O.P., who provided a classic hook. As former studio regulars at the legendary, now defunct D&D studios, where they both recorded & released a series of well-respected singles, the collaboration was inevitable.

"Demo" came about during an in-depth search for a complimentary song to include as part of a new vinyl single to release. Though different from many of the previous QNC underground hits ("My Kinda Moves", "Makin' Moves", "Repertoire"), it harnesses a new energy, but retains the familiar flavor, in a more free flowing stew.

This will be the first QNC release in several years entirely produced by Curt Cazal (a member of legendary old school Long Island crew J.V.C.F.O.R.C.E. and producer for Keith Murray, M.O.P., Boot Camp Clik, Krumb Snatcha, Afu-Ra, and many more) adding an extra level of anticipation.

A year Ago I weighed 303lbs, then a friend of mine introduced me to CrossFit and it completely changed my life.  I am down 70lbs and working hard to drop even more."  I was so inspired by my transformation that I created a song about never giving up, over coming obstacles and always pushing forward. A Better Me (Keep Pushing)Ft. Elisha Ward

On the lead single off his forthcoming compilation LP, 'Timeless Music,' Long Island producer BP The Neckbreaker laces grimy strings and slapping drums for “Stacking Ammo,” a hard-hitting collaboration featuring Wu-Tang affiliates, Frukwan and 9th Prince.

The track represents the first we’re hearing from the beatsmith’s 18 track compilation album, which boasts a slew of notable guests including late rap legends Sean Price and Prodigy. And on “Stacking Ammo,” BP displays his affinity for crafting joints that perfectly match the tough talk and wordplay of the extended Wu family.

Frukwan (of Gravediggaz) and 9th Prince (of Killarmy) previously joined forces on the latter’s One Man Army album, and “Stacking Ammo” continues the tradition of these two sounding like they need to record a full album together…immediately. Their back-to-back verses are raw and full of quotables, all of which sound even better thanks to BP’s bone-chilling production.
