Since inception in 2010, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. "Mind Tha Gap" is a second tune from our two-track release inspired by our  squat rave experience on New Year's Eve 2020.
We've noticed that here in UK there is a special type of Jumpy-kind-of Drum & Bass sound (not meaning Jump Up). 
After being hit by the bass sound coming from the DROPJAW AUDIO system for 7-8 hours all we could think of is that we need to try replicate that vibe in this tune. Mind Tha Gap was hella fun to make, containing lots of good memories for us and worked nicely as a double drop tool for numoerous sets of ours.
We hope you'll enjoy this tune! <3
