Featuring crazy but delicious beat edits this track has the feel of a '96 Junglist party tune, but with filthy low and fizzy bass keeping it up to date. The euphoric blissed out middle breakdown reminisces times of a bygone era. Classic vibes with a modern twist.

A natural homecoming for one of our favourite artists, we are proud to present the second album from Zero T on Dispatch Recordings; ‘Little Pieces’. 

Neatly forming over the past year, ‘Little Pieces’ marries all aspects of the Irishman’s diverse, accomplished sound, progressing from the elegant piano foray ‘Fortune Favours’ to amen strewn tech stepper ‘Dying Breed’, filling all the gaps in between. 

Collaborations with Beta 2 & Villem are backed by vocal features from DRS, Stamina and Steo; whose lyrics provided the album’s core inspiration on the stunning title track, supported by Friction (on BBC Radio 1) and DJ Hype (Kiss FM). 

Following his acclaimed 2015 album ‘Golden Section’, Zero T continues his thematic, visual imagery; the album artwork reflecting the mosaic of his influences from over the years, carefully reconstructed into a cohesive body of work.

A true demonstration of his artistry, Zero T encapsulates everything we love about this genre in ‘Little Pieces’.

'High Fives & Devil Eyes' is the brand-new LP forthcoming from SCAR, a duo who've spent years dominating the waters of dance music with their formulae of underground, yet accessible drum & bass. Individually and as part of their SCAR project, both Script and Survival have been involved in shaping the genre for decades, helping to sculpt its formative years alongside a range of imprints that have ensured it longevity. For their forthcoming album they've once again been welcomed into the fold of Metalheadz, where SCAR have now been exclusively signed after appearing in their catalogue as one of its main staples. Since their first piece of music together, 'When', debuted on Metalheadz via the label's esteemed 'Platinum Breakz' series, through to their first SCAR artist LP 'The Orkyd Project' in 2016, the pair's journey has followed the label's growth and they've continued to be supported by its founder Goldie. On first listen to 'High Fives & Devil Eyes' it's instantly clear why they were made such an essential part of such a revered platform, bringing together the historic elements as well as the modern production levels which have enabled them to remain trend setters over the years.

From the sounds of 'Circle of Trust', right through to the finely-tuned vocals of Eleanor Higgins on 'Eternal', the tastes catered to throughout 'High Fives & Devil Eyes' demonstrates why SCAR have been welcomed into the roster of Metalheadz and it's not just down to their heritage with the imprint. Tracks like 'State of Delusion', 'Stolen Memories', 'Can't Do Anything With It' and 'Nothing Lasts Forever' show how SCAR still bridge the gap between contemporary standards and an understanding of their roots, as well as how this has influenced their current direction. Coming up next, 'Funk Control' injects much needed soul into the drum & bass sphere whilst tracks like 'First Sound', 'The Seeker', 'Thinking out Loud' and 'Pauline' continue the journey of breaks and immersive soundscapes. The album's title-record 'High Fives and Devil Eyes' encompasses the album's rawness whilst cuts like 'Deep South' and 'Torn Apart' pedestals the diversity demonstrated throughout. Even the LP's interlude 'Nomad' travels the listener through an elaborate composition, and you're left understanding that 'High Fives & Devil Eyes' is a listening album too, despite how well it'll translate within any club setting.

'High Fives & Devil Eyes' doesn't just signpost another huge step forward for SCAR musically, but also for Metalheadz. They've added two more members to their pivotal roster and it's another album to highlight the label's consistency, something which has pushed forward from their beginnings in 1994.

The second part of Philth’s ‘Moments in Time’ LP is about to drop on Dispatch Recordings; after the success of its first segment, it’s sure to make a similar impact and start 2020 at a formidable height for Philth. Comprising thirteen more brand new selections, it’ll remind listeners of why his debut LP was such a sought-after release.

The album opens with ‘Let You Fall’, drawing for old-school breaks and emotive voice overtures. Meanwhile, Ella Sopp joins Philth once again for ‘Just a Memory’, with her luring vocals streaming through the mix. Daniela Rhodes is the next featuring artist alongside Philth for ‘Solar Cycle’, their drawn-out melodies and sublime vocals are underpinned by the tracks cinematic breakdowns and ambitious extended arrangement. ‘The Teacher’ pays homage to Philth’s darker waters, with aggressive distorted sub bass and rolling techstep drums. Interlude ‘The Storm’ nods to Philth’s vast musical background, whilst ‘Rivers’ allows you to become lulled by its searing strings. US duo Quadrant & Iris then join Philth for ‘Emerald’, a collaboration which mixes the light and darker elements which make all three producers so buy-on-sight. ‘Damaged’ is more ruminating, with moodier undertones and Becca Jane Grey makes another appearance with Philth for the rollers mix of ‘Lost in a Moment’.
‘Claws’ shows a new production face from Philth, with his drum work acting as a centre piece. ‘The Light’ once again demonstrates his lighter side, like the ethereal tones of ‘Just a Drop in the Ocean’. Finally Collette Warren steps up alongside Philth for the deeply reflective closing track ‘Stuck in a Loop’, the latest in a long line of collaborations between the pair.

Philth proves with another huge delivery that he’s able to take you through a range of emotions, something which his music has always endeavoured to do. ‘Moments in Time’ also highlights Philth’s enviable work ethic, something amplified once more by a production standard which is second to none.

With his first release in 1999, London based Irishman Cian McCann has long since established his place in the scene. From his early days in Dublin with the Bassbin label, to working with the likes of Calibre,4 Hero, Klute, Alix Perez, Icicle and Noisia, he has never stood still. 

2008's Cheap Shots LP for Total Science's CIA Records was a high point, with the lead track "Walk Away" bringing fellow Dubliner Steo to the worlds attention. 

Also a noted remixer, Zero T has retouched artists as diverse as Dillinja, Slam, Goldie, Sabre, Lemon D, Lenzman and Lenny Fontana.

Zero T's discography reflects the diversity that his DJ sets have always shown, ranging from full vocal smoothness to more rolling, dance floor styles. 

You are as likely to find his music on labels like Metalheadz and Shogun as on Soul:r or Signature.

2010 saw two milestones reached. The launch of Footprints; Zero T's own label, and compiling and mixing FABRICLIVE052 for the esteemed London venue.

After a short period away from the scene, 2014 saw the return of Zero T as a producer, remixer and DJ with a Metalheadz debut and a spate of collaborations with the legendary Fierce on the highly regarded Quarantine.

2015 saw the long awaited sophomore album, this time coming on Dispatch Recordings, entitled "Golden Section”, along with a glut of appearances on Shogun Audio, Soul:r, Fokuz and Spearhead.

2016/17 saw more releases on Quarantine, Metalheadz, Integral, Spearhead and Horizons, along with plenty of remixes for the likes of Lenzman, Noisia, Gerra + Stone, SATL and many more. 

The last number of years have also seen Zero T touring extensively in the UK, Europe, USA, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

2018 saw the release of the third Zero T album ‘Little Pieces’ on Dispatch Recordings, featuring guest appearances from Steo, DRS, Stamina, Villem and Beta 2. He also released an EP on Lenzman’s label The North Quarter entitled "Baby Grand", collaborated with Phase on Metalheadz and GLXY Shogun Audio and delivered another batch of remixes for Metalheadz, Dispatch and several other labels. 

2019 brought a debut solo 12" on 31 Recordings, a remix of Goldie, an extended EP with Beta 2 on Metalheadz, an EP with Steo on Integral, appearances on both V Recordings and Metalheadz 25 year anniversary LP's and much more!

2020 highlights included another EP on The North Quarter, a debut on Sofa Sound Bristol and the usual raft of remixes and guest appearances.
