Kicking off Refraction Vol. 001 with a familiar face - Yannons returns to the label with a deep and soothing roller ‘Taken Away’.

Yannick has been with Transparent Audio from the very start when we launched the label exactly a year ago. So it only seems right to showcase the Dutch producer’s track as our first one of the compilation.

Yannons’ journey started after getting involved with the small Groningen based club nights titled 'Bassface’. Shortly after, Yannons picked up music production and ventured into the genre he loved – Drum & Bass. Over time his style progressed to a more stripped-back, minimal, deep, and techy form, characterized by groovy basslines, tight beats, and dark atmospheres. Yannons has now developed his own signature sound placing himself in the middle of deep melodic and more obscure forms of the genre.
