Running From The Rain Snippet

"Four to the Floor" came together during the time spent by Folami on the 2017 Earth, Wind & Fire with CHIC ft Nile Rodgers tour of the U.S. The inspiration from this tour with two mega- giants of music created a combination of 70's disco, dance and pop music for Folami's smash single. It was also heavily influenced by Marvin Gaye's album, Midnight Love, when Marvin started incorporating synthesizer, drum machines and the effect and elements that created his classic sound.
The original music was created by Sebastian Moore in Montreux, Switzerland with lyrics written by Mackenzie Frye. Grammy nominated singer, songwriter and producer, Lester "L2" Shaw produced the track.
The title, "Four to the Floor" references a commonly used musical term in dance music that defines a rhythm pattern: a steady, uniformed beat in which the bass drum, or kick, is hit on every beat (1, 2, 3, 4).
