Ms. Folasayo is a young lady on a mission to empower women of African descent to embrace their natural hair.  “I use my God given gifts for empowerment. Our hair is beautiful as it is.  Our hair doesn’t need to be altered.  Rather our hair needs to be nurtured and maintained.  Our hair is unique.  Yes we stand out from the crowd because of our hair texture.  However standing out from the crowd is a positive aspect of life.  No more should we confirm and assimilate to what we can never accomplish- the altering of our true selves.
