i’ve been around the meanjin scene for a minute now and I’ve seen too many cats take this rap shit for granted. you see it at their shows. everyone’s performing with full backing vocals, you can’t even hear their real voice on the mic. makes you wonder if they’ve ever rapped outside of recording the only 3 songs they’ve dropped. you can tell by their raps they’re probably spelling half the lyrics wrong in their notes app. these cats need to go back to the pen and pad, pick up a thesaurus type shit. do better.
