This week Monument presents a mix from Noncompliant, aka @Djshiva, an artist who was last year named as one of the breakthrough DJ's by Mixmag and always delivers surprising and unexpected sounds and moods.

Working with music for more than two decades, she has ruled the dance floors not only in the US warehouse raves and clubs, but also European top clubs such as Berghain, DeSchool and Concrete. Noncompliant is also a producer, and has released for example with labels  Fiedeltwo, Dark Entries and Valence.

Franco-spanish artist, DJ & musician, was born in Spain in 1968 but it was in France where he began his path in dark cold & E.B.M. sounds. Owner of Unknown Pleasures Records.

In winter 1988/89 he was resident DJ in two cult underground clubs in Southern France and consolidated his career at Trolleybus (Marseille) in 1993 with the fetish-industrial Armageddon festivals. Early 2000, the first record label interested in his rhythmic noise works was Divine Comedy Records (France). In 2004 he finished his first ever North American tour "Industrial Virus Tour" in USA, Mexico & Canada.

After having played in various industrial festivals (l'Usine / Switzerland, Infest/ UK, Nocturna/ Spain, Noxious Art Festival/ France...) and many countries (Spain, Belgium, UK, Mexico, USA & Canada, Chile..) he works in 2007 with french techno artist THE HACKER on song "Novo Disko", an old-style EBM track (appears on "Electronic Manifesto" compilation published on Caustic Records).
In 2008 HIV+ produced his last official album "We Are All Haunted Houses" (Caustic / DC rec) and maked a cover version of The Normal's classic "Warm Leatherette" on a vinyl picture disc (OPN records). He also produced some various artists compilations called "Electronic Manifesto" series with classic New Wave covers and cult electronic artists.
In 2012 Pedro collaborates with Usher (from french band NORMA LOY) and they produced vinyl EP "Black Monolith" during summer 2012 (on OPN records / France) and their first CD album "Wide Lights From Hatred Springs" (Signifier records / USA January 2013) which contains tracks remixed by ABSOLUTE BODY CONTROL or RADICAL G.
Finally Pedro found (as lead singer & manager) with Usher the franco spanish synth-pop band ADAN & ILSE recently remixed by DAVID CARRETTA, THE HORRORIST, JOHN LORD FONDA, FRANCK KARTELL, COMMUTER, CHRISTOPHER KAH, HAUJOBB, MLADA FRONTA.
In December 2013, Pedro founded and directed the new music label called https://soundcloud.com/unknownpleasuresrecords for promote EBM, synth wave, cold wave & minimal wave with intelligent techno industrial sounds.

The New Yorker/Berlin based Curses is known for blending his Rock & Roll roots with the darker side of disco and electro. In both his DJ and live sets. Curses incorporate his ghostly vocals and guitar with flashes of EBM, New Wave, Post-Punk, and psychedelic synth vibes. Releasing selectively on well respected underground labels such as Bordello A Parigi, Throne of Blood, Ombra INTL. and Relish, Curses also runs a Rinse France monthly radio residency showcasing artists who share a love for mixing wave and weird disco.

A true individual, Copenhagen-based @anastasiakristensen has long held a familial link with FOLD. Being more than well acquainted to the club, she curated one of our UNFOLDs last Autumn, and is renowned for her bold sets that constantly push upon experimental takes on dominant genres. 

Delivering a discourse on all things unconventional at her recent all-night long appearance last month at Headquarters club in Singapore, Anastasia reigned supreme with palpitations through everything from primitive drums to corrosive acid.
