As a resident for musical collective / radio community Melodic Distraction and one of the key organisers for the inclusive event series ATHE, Ben Sleia has had her feet firmly planted within the Northern music scene for some time now. From her excellent selections in experimental techno and maintaining a strong voice for female, queer and minority musicians, Lea has long championed an ethos of complete diversity and liberation. 
These values are reflected in ATHE's programming and her own musical choices.

Berlin-based DJ and producer @ofparadisefade is master of turbulence. 

One listen to her release catalogue, and it’s clear that Lauren Chalmers has nailed the weighty swing of breakbeat, techno and all in between. As the Co-Founder of @ofparadiserecords – which has seen the likes of @strattontrax and @Interplanetary-Criminal – she divides her time between the studio, appearing at leading radio stations (including @RinseFM and @MutantRadio) and directing the label.

With a forthcoming remix release for Of Paradise signee @oallhates’s Tranceporter EP that dropped back in May and a full debut EP out shortly after, Lauren recorded an exclusive mix for our DETECT series that extracts her countless styles.

Welcome back to another Transmission broadcasting from the HER 他 Transmission Mix Series, a weekly mix series showcasing incredible and amazing artists from around the world. For the 45th edition, we bring you a mix from Naarm / Melbourne DJ, Producer and Vocalist, Yollks.
 
Yollks has well and truly indented herself in the local music scene, with her organic blend of Acid, Rave, Electro, Breakbeat and re-worked pop samples, Yollks incites movement and elation all across Melbourne's most renowned bars and clubs. With a string of various compilations under her belt, she is one to know.
 
Yollks is also a co-founding member of the local DJ Collective, ‘Fluxx’ and is part of the creative collective ‘ Genre Spanner’.
