Vanity Productions is the solo moniker of Christian Stadsgaard, a crucial figure in the contemporary Nordic electronic and experimental music scenes. Standing at the helm of the label Posh Isolation with Loke Rahbek, Stadsgaard is responsible for one of the most consistent and compelling labels to both define and elaborate the many productive sides of the underground in the last decade.

As a performing and recording artist his work with Rahbek as Damien Dubrovnik was a critical project in the contemporary noise milieu. More recently his collaborative work with Jonas Rönnberg as The Empire Line has gained significant notoriety. However, it's as Vanity Productions that the full breadth of the emotive intensity of Stadsgaard's work is felt.

Oliver Ho’s post-rock/synth noise project Slow White Fall, established itself with 2 bleak and ritualistic records for Downwards, the legendary home of alternative electronics run by Regis aka Karl O’Connor. 
Now Oliver brings us Flesh In The Modern Age - the 14 track album sits somewhere between death metal, ambient, noise and post-rock. 
Ideas of landscape, mythology and the occult form the inspiration for the music. Coming on Oliver’s own Death & Leisure imprint, the album comes on limited edition cd accompanied by a book of photo collages with absurd and surreal gothic poetry created by Oliver Ho, which is also performed as spoken word on the album by vocal artist Blood Powers.

From the guitar drones and booming funeral march drums of The Godless Earth, to the heavy electronic strobing kick drums of Slowly We Rot, the album moves into the ambient synth scapes of Opium Song featuring haunting spoken word. There’s the avant distorted noise pieces of Scum Will Rise and Secret Demon that push further into the dark waters, moving into the pure drone and feedback of Hell Bastard, and lastly the album ends with The Death God Cometh, a layered distorted ambient doom metal piece that brings the journey to its crushing destination.

"The culmination of a working relationship that started in 2019, "Godless" is the first full-length release from Jonathan "Stave" Krohn (also known for his work as half of Talker on Downwards) and Thomas "Karim Maas" Cooper. After a joint live p.a. with labelmates in Bristol (suggested by UVB-76 label co-owner Nick Callaghan) a shared interest in both Birmingham-influenced techno, as well as forward-thinking bass and breaks music, led to further collaborations, with Krohn and Cooper pushing rhythm tracks and loops back and forth from their home studios based out of Chicago and Bristol respectively.  "Godless" finds Krohn and Cooper in fine form - it's a cinematic, richly detailed recording that represents some of their best material to date."

IGNIS FERALIS, the second chapter in a four-part cycle, evokes the elements of a cursed and decaying world — a planet collapsing under its own corruption, where the future flickers uncertainly and the abyss draws closer.

Here, fire becomes sound incarnate: a percussion of flames striking against silence, each spark a relentless beat. It swells like a melody unraveling in distortion, crackling as it spreads. Its heat is a low vibration that shudders through bone, its dance a hypnotic sequence of minor tones, merciless and entrancing. At its heart, the blaze is a mechanical rhythm of devastation, primal yet precise, consuming everything in its pulse.

@judith-klempner aka Proteus explores industrial, experimental, and modernist electronics. From the avant-garde pioneers of electronic music to the roaring and raging industrial techno of today. A cross-section thread of the dark and challenging, celebrating the urge to dance and move through caustic noise, visceral and feral sound. 

A product of the industrial North and its heritage in electronic music, Proteus has become a staple artist of London’s underground queer techno scene. She initially ran her eponymous club night from Rye Wax in the heart of Peckham, determined to bring forward forgotten 80s electronics. Proteus focused on coldwave and post-punk, the broad spectrum of goth and industrial, to playing the techno inspired by it. 

In this set, she pushes at the boundaries of industrial techno, with a hard and experimental edge. Power electronics and noise as a counterpoint to pounding kick drums. Beguiling, intense and hypnotic.

Su trabajo de indagación y producción en cuanto a sonidos que van desde el ritualismo pagano del dark ambient de culto hasta los ritmos sucios y extremos de un noise de características propias le han ido llevando a ir descubriendo y difuminando las fronteras entre los géneros más oscuros de la electrónica. El acto en vivo de Terror Cognitive Dissonance ha sido descrito como perturbador y confrontativo, cruzando la frontera entre el artista y la audiencia a través de la performance improvisada y el uso de hardware acompañado de voces desgarradoras. Perteneciente al colectivo Oddsratio; plataforma dedicada a la búsqueda de nuevos sonidos desde un prisma experimental y a través de todas las técnicas de creación alternativas y/o analógicas, Terror Cognitive Disonance realza su figura como productor llegando a lanzar tres álbumes de estudio desde 2017 hasta la fecha.

En esta grabación, Terror Cognitive Dissonance combina la técnica del djing con la del live act, logrando un conjunto híbrido de mezcla e improvisación. Esto surge cuando 2 o 3 pistas están siendo mezcladas, y por otro lado de manera simultánea, se están aplicando estructuras sonoras, ritmos o incluso voces mediante sintes, pedales y cajas de ritmo. Knife presents Terror Cognitive Dissonance, the identity under which Jesús Martos hides, developing as an artistic-experimental concept that intrinsic fear of the human being of the unknown. His work of investigation and production in terms of sounds that range from the pagan ritualism of cult dark ambient to the dirty and extreme rhythms of a noise with its own characteristics have led him to discover and blur the borders between the darkest genres of The electronic. Terror Cognitive Dissonance's live act has been described as disturbing and confrontational, crossing the border between artist and audience through improvised performance and the use of hardware accompanied by heartbreaking vocals. Belonging to the Oddsratio collective; a platform dedicated to the search for new sounds from an experimental prism and through all alternative and/or analog creation techniques, Terror Cognitive Disonance enhances its figure as a producer, releasing three studio albums from 2017 to now.

In this recording, Terror Cognitive Dissonance combines the technique of djing with that of live act, achieving a hybrid ensemble of mixing and improvisation. This arises when 2 or 3 tracks are being mixed, and on the other hand simultaneously, sound structures, rhythms or even voices are being applied through synths, pedals and drum machines. Likewise, this recording is made with several cult pieces of European industrial music, and in particular, several cassettes of Italian noise from the 80s and 90s combined with more current releases of the same experimental style, as well as some unreleased tracks by the author, passing through genres such as power electronics, death industrial or drone metal.
